1. on U2gigs.com a guy named Axver put in his Tour Predictions for CD's, here's my potential predictions

    Boy

    1. I Will Follow - 100%. I'm definitely giving this first song a 100% because since it's been on every single tour. I have a feeling it's going to be on this tour. I Will Follow didn't make it's start on the first and second legs of ZOOTV until it was done on the third leg in a stripped-down acoustic form, it never made the first leg on the Vertigo Tour, but debuted on the second leg in the UK. And hope seemed to be lost that I Will Follow would not be on the 360 tour as it didn't appear on the first and second leg until it made it's debut on the Third Leg in August of 2010. So I'm sensing it may be in this tour, could be in the main set, middle part of the set or in the encore, or possibly an Acoustic Version of this song similar to 1993.

    2. Twilight - 15%. A 15% chance that it's not happening. Twilight hasn't been performed since The Unforgettable Fire Tour, but after 31 long years, could it make it's return somewhat in the middle set it could be sequed into "This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now" making it a beautiful segue or a snippet. But odds are that it's an outside chance that it may not happen.

    3. An Cat Dubh - 45% I could give this a 45% chance of this happening. It hasn't been played in 9 years since the 3rd night in Dublin on the Vertigo Tour. Sure it made a timely resurrection on the Vertigo Tour, but let's break it down to where An Cat Dubh has never been played on tours. The Joshua Tree. Lovetown. ZOOTV. Pop. Elevation and the 360 tour. An Cat Dubh and Into The Heart could've both been a potential candidate on the Joshua Tree Tour and on the Elevation Tour as well, but I guess the band grew tired of it until they resurrected it in 2005. I think it could come back in some sort of capacity, maybe we could have a first ever "acoustic" version of this song. But I don't see a 100% chance of it coming back, I look at it as a 45%

    4. Into The Heart - 45%. The Same goes for Into The Heart, it doesn't look like An Cat Dubh and Into The Heart will be in the tour although it could potentially happen but I don't think it will.

    5. Out of Control - 85%. Believe this or not I'm giving it a 85% chance since it's debut in 1980. Out of Control was always in the set from the early U2 days through January 1990 and missed the ZOOTV and Popmart Era. But they resurrected it on the Elevation Tour and closed the show with it three times, it's had it's fair share in the encore, the first time this song was in the encore was in U2's Dublin Tour in June of 1985 and the second time it was in Cork back in August of 1987 when it made it's Joshua Tree Tour appearance, and since then it has been played in the main set and in the encore as well since The Joshua Tree throughout 360, and like I Will Follow. I wasn't sure if we would see Out Of Control in the 360 tour but they resurrected it in April of 2011 and who could ever forget Out of Control being the closer at the Glastonbury Festival beating out the favorite all-time closer on the 360 tour Moment of Surrender, but I think it may return on the tour. it may be a seque to California (There is No End To Love), but I think Out of Control has a good chance of making it's return to the set.

    6. Stories For Boys - 30%. i doubt that this song has a chance of returning to the setlist, it's been 32 years since this song's been in the setlist although it did make a snippet in Vertigo on the Vertigo Tour and it was only snippeted once on the 360 tour. But as much as it could return, it's not going to unless it can sneak somewhere in as an acoustic version of this tour. But it should not happen.

    7. The Ocean - 55%. I give this a 55% chance, but I wouldn't want to say it, i don't think it may happen, It could've had a good run on The Joshua Tree Tour and even on The Popmart Tour as a lullaby. And to think The Ocean has not been played in over 9 years, it's last performance was December of 2005 and never made it to the fourth and fifth leg of the Vertigo Tour although it missed the second leg of the tour. But it was somewhat of a closer from the Boy. October and the Pre-War Tour but that was it. For it to return, it's gotta be sequed into a song either "Raised By Wolves" or an old song like "Gloria or The Electric Co." or wait for it "Bullet The Blue Sky" if it were to return. But me giving this a 55% chance doesn't mean it may or will not happen.

    7. A Day Without Me - 30%. I'm giving this a 30% chance because I don't see A Day Without Me returning in the set, it's been 29 years since it's stayed out of any kind of setlist and it looks like it will remain that way unless U2 can play it acoustic rather than electric. It's last performance was in April of 1985 and it never returned to the set again. In this tour, i don't see it happening, unless they play it acoustic which would be good. That could be a good acoustic version of this song, but I think the return of A Day Without Me is highly unlikely.

    8. Another Time, Another Place - 15%. Just like Twilight, I've given this a 15%, because it's never been played for 32 years and it always didn't play well into a set. The only potential time i would've seen Another Time, Another Place was could've been played into The Unforgettable Fire Tour, could've been sequed right into Wire and also on the Joshua Tree Tour, could've been played after Exit. I've always thought of Exit followed by Another Time, Another Place. Another chance it could've been right into the Elevation Tour, could've been of an acoustic version of this song. But it didn't happen. And with this song being 15%, i don't believe it will happen.

    9. The Electric Co. - 60%. I gotta give this song a 60% chance of this because since it's debut throughout the 1980's. The Electric Co. never missed a show from the early/mid and late 1980's until it's final performance on the Joshua Tree Tour in August of 1987 only to resurrect it 18 years later on the Vertigo Tour. But sadly it didn't make the 360 tour. But i think this could be a good time to return to the Innocence and Experience Tour after it's 8-year absence. But i don't see it being acoustic, I think it will be a regular version of this song.

    10. Shadows and Tall Trees - 10%. I don't think Shadows and Tall Trees will never make a return to the set, it has missed a show for more than 34 years even since Boy came out. Potentially it could've returned by the 1990's on the ZOOTV tour as an acoustic song, but it never did. With the band possibly doing a different set on the second show, it could be stripped down acoustic, but I doubt a 10% chance of it not making it's return.

    11. 11 O'clock Tick Tock - 40%. This was definitely a 1980's crowd pleaser from Boy. October and War and even in the Unforgettable Fire Tour, but it slowed down when it was only played once on the Joshua Tree Tour and twice on the Lovetown Tour and we never saw it on ZOOTV nor the Popmart Tour until it returned in 2000 on the All That You Can't Leave Behind Promo Tour in Irving, NY followed by another return of the song in a free show at London in 2001 and it was done on the Elevation Tour rarely until it's final performance in August of 2001. It's clearly been 13 years since we've seen this song, but I give this a 40% chance of this returning, maybe it could sneak in the encore, I could see it sequed either in "The Crystal Ballroom" or "Lucifer's Hands". I think 11 O'clock Tick Tock would work well after The Crystal Ballroom.

Well that's all for the Boy Predictions, tell me what you all think as I head on to October now.

I've already predicted Boy for Part 1 of my Tour Predictions and now it's time for October to get it's fair share

    October

    1. Gloria - 75%. - Although it could not happen, I'm giving this a 75% chance. Why because it was a big hit back in the 1980's being the opener from The October Tour through The Unforgettable Fire Tour until it rotated from the encore, and then it suddenly disappeared in the 1990's until it was resurrected in the Vertigo Tour, it made it through three legs but never appeared in the fourth and fifth leg, and it's been 9 years since this song was played, so it could have a good chance of being in the tour, maybe say we could have an "acoustic bluegrass version of Gloria". Keep dreaming, but I'd rather have an electric Gloria rather than an Acoustic Gloria. In one of these four tours, it's a likable chance that Gloria could make a return to the set.

    2. I Fall Down - 25%. Don't let that Piano Intro fool you, it's the chords to I Fall Down. A Song that has never been played since April 1985 and it's a 25% chance that it will not happen. unless it makes a surprise return in one of the 4 shows as an acoustic number with Edge still on Piano, but it's an unlikable chance of it not being in this set.

    3. I Threw A Brick Through A Window - 20%. I Threw A Brick is possibly one of the 1980's Punk Rock songs ever with the hard hitting drumming as an example of "Sunday Bloody Sunday", But like A Day Without Me and I Fall Down it hasn't been played since April of 1985. And it looks like it's staying out of the set again. It's unlikely that we will never see I Threw A Brick in the set as well.

    4. Rejoice - 35%. Rejoice is the only time ever to be played on a single tour if I'm right, it hasn't been performed since August 1982 and people were hoping it would be in the War Tour as well. think about it. Sunday Bloody Sunday followed by Rejoice would be a recipe for a good set on the War Tour, we will never know what it would like. But all I know is that it's not going to be on the set in this tour, I'm sorry. But there's no way it won't be in this tour.

    5. Fire - 10%. The first single from October. Fire has only made 3 tour appearances. Boy, October and War. But since the War Tour Debut in February of 1983. Fire hasn't been seen, it has been 31 years since Fire has not been in a setlist and it looks as if it could happen again, Fire could've been resurrected somewhat on The Joshua Tree Tour as an encore or possibly on the Vertigo Tour to end the Main Set. But it's a likable chance that it won't show up, so it looks like Fire is still going to be put out of the setlist.

    6. Tomorrow - 50%. The reason I've given this a 50% chance is because this song is about Bono's mother. The song [Iris Hold Me Close] is about Bono's mother as well, kind of like Tomorrow II as well. It never made the first, second nor third leg of the October Tour until it's live performance in March, October and Tomorrow pretty much sequed very well together in this tour and it followed this way on the War Tour. But it's been 31 years since we haven't seen this song, but an acoustic performance of this song was done of a CD with Bono and Adam Clayton re-releasing it in 1995 or 1996. So I think we most likely could see an acoustic version of Tomorrow in one of the intimate shows, but I really don't think Tomorrow might not make it in the set.

    7. October - 30%. The haunting piano version of this song, most darkly and intimate intro in the shows throughout the 1980's was October. It pretty much never missed a tour since it's debut in the 1980's. And the fans pretty much loved the October/New Year's Day seque from 1983 through 1989. Whose to say it could happen again cause there were plans of White As Snow/October/New Year's Day seque in 2009 but that never happened but one of the songs did make it to the 360 tour and that was New Year's Day leaving October to it's 20-year drought, we're nearing 2015, and it looks like the 26-year drought may continue for October.

    8. With A Shout - 15%. You gotta give this a 15% because it's not going to make it in the set. Like Rejoice, it's the second song to be played in a single tour, and since it's TV performance on May 1982. It never showed up in any kind of capacity, and it looks like it's going to not be there in this tour.

    9. Stranger In A Strange Land - 10%. This is possibly the only song that hasn't been on a tour although it was snippeted in the Electric Co. once on The Unforgettable Fire Tour but that was it, and as far as it goes, it looks as if we may never see a debut of this song for the first time.

    10. Scarlet - 45%. On the 360 tour. Scarlet made a first-time ever tour resurrection replacing MLK cause of Aung San Sui Kyi being free. Scarlet was played for the only time and then it never made an appearance throughout almost every single tour from 1981 through 2005 until it's appearance on the Fourth Leg of the U2 360 Tour in New Zealand on November 2010 ending the 29-year drought. But with the chances of Scarlet being in this tour, I don't think we may see this song in this tour but anything can happen, it's Innocence and Experience after all.

I will not give Is That All a rating because this song is similar to The Cry with The Edge's Guitar Riff. So that's all for this October Prediction. War will be next shortly.

I just finished editing this and then I realized there's 2 songs from The October CD that needed to be rated so here's what I call extras.

    11. Party Girl - 90%. I am giving this a 90% chance because through tours like these, it always sneaks in the setlist besides Popmart Tour. It debuted in 1983 and it has never stopped surprising us somehow, I do see Party Girl being played still as an "acoustic version". Party Girl did have it's day in the sun in 2 360 tour Appearances, but that was it. So I'm very much confident in one of these concerts Party Girl is most likely to be in the setlist.

    12. A Celebration - 40%. A Celebration is possibly a good song U2 has ever done, it's debut was in 1982 and it even was done as a single. A Celebration was played in the October Tour and somewhat in the War Tour as well, it missed half of the legs until it's resurrection at the end of The War Tour in Japan. It's final appearance was in November 1983 meaning it's been 31 years since A Celebration hasn't been played until rumours circulated that they were rehearsing the song in 2005 in Tijuana but we found out that the rumours were untrue, a fan however at the Final Lovetown Tour Show gave Bono a banner saying U2: A Celebration and Bono said "you can call it that allright", it was the possibility that it could've came back, but 40 closed the show anyhow giving no chance of A Celebration to make it in the setlist. Although it would've worked well on The Joshua Tree or in the Lovetown Tour. But I don't think it's going to be in this tour.

We've recently looked back at the Tour Predictions, Boy and October have been given the grades, But now it's time to give the next grade. War

    War

    1. Sunday Bloody Sunday - 100%. I am definitely giving this a 100% because with the exception of Lovetown. Sunday Bloody Sunday has made it through a tour since it's debut in December 1982. It has been done on a slower version from 1986 through 1987 and Edge playing it solo in 1997 followed by an Acoustic Performance of this song in Clinton back in 2001, it has been done Electric and Full Band and it looks like it will still be played electric. But it could be stripped down acoustic, because since the Clinton Performance and the One Video. Sunday Bloody Sunday looks like a possible candidate to be an acoustic version similar to 1987. And Sunday Bloody Sunday's likable chance of being in the set is all because of politics, Cause of Bono's talk about Amnesty International in the Joshua Tree and The infamous Revolution Speech on Rattle and Hum. With the chaos that's going on in the US. We could see Bono talk about that midway through the song. The only thing we could see return in this song is the "no more" chants cause there were none of that on the 360 tour, only the wipe your tears away part. So with I Will Follow. Out of Control. Gloria and Party Girl likely to be on tour, I'm giving this a 100% and hell it could be follow Cedarwood Road or Raised by Wolves, A Raised By Wolves/SBS combination would be awesome, so we just will have to wait and see.

    2. Seconds - 25%. a 25% chance of Seconds coming back is not happening, But it has been done on Acoustic Guitar with full band with Edge singing on Vocals, and it's a possibility that we could see it on Acoustic Guitar in one of the shows because Bono and the band have been thinking of intimate sets and Seconds could make a return to the set ending a 29-year drought.

    3. New Year's Day - 100%. You don't need me to tell you that this needs a 100% because there's a 100% that New Year's Day will be in this tour cause since it's debut. New Year's Day has never missed a tour, it missed some appearances on The Joshua Tree and Lovetown and missed 2 legs on the ZOOTV Tour, but returned on the third leg of the ZOOTV Tour. If there was ever a way to replace October with New Year's Day, it was definitely Until The End of The World. Both Until The End of The World and New Year's Day were a match made together in both setlists whether it was ZOOTV. Popmart. Elevation. Vertigo and 360 all together. So it looks like die-hard U2 fans could see 100% chances of 2 crowd pleasing songs Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Year's Day on this tour. There is no doubt in my mind about that.

    4. Like A Song - 10%. Perhaps another song from Rejoice and With A Shout that has made it as a single tour, it was only one appearance from the start of the War Tour and it was never played again. So there's a 10% chance that it's not coming back, so you can add it to the unlikable songs U2 will never play again.

    5. Drowning Man - 35%. I don't know why I gave this a 35% because when rehearsals began from the 360 tour it seemed like Drowning Man would finally make an appearance although it was used as a snippet in 11 O'clock Tick Tock and even in Beautiful Day which you could see on the Chicago DVD on the Vertigo Tour. But on the First Tour, it never showed there, it was however rehearsed in Dublin but didn't make it's actual tour appearance as well. I've been talking about the acoustic intimate sets and maybe Drowning Man even though it is an acoustic song, it could likely make it to the acoustic songs. But I doubt it.

    6. The Refugee - 10%. Next to Stranger in A Strange Land, Is That All and Drowning Man. The Refugee has never made a tour appearance and it looks like that a chance of The Refugee will not make another tour appearance. So definitely no Refugee in this tour.

    7. Two Hearts Beat As One - 30%. You might think Two Hearts Beat As One was a popular single in the 1980's by U2. It made it's way to the War Tour and The Unforgettable Fire Tour, but lasted through April 1985 and did not make The Joshua Tree Tour and the only time it came back was in the second show in Dublin on The Lovetown Tour when it appeared as an encore and it never played again, so is it a possibility that Two Hearts Beat As One could come back in the setlist, it was snippeted right at the end of Vertigo in Pittsburgh at the 360 tour. But right now it doesn't look like Two Hearts Beat As One is ready for a resurrection just yet.

    8. Red Light - 5%. Yes I'm giving this a 5% because next to Stranger in A Strange Land. Is That All. The Refugee and Drowning Man. Red Light has not been given the Green Light to be in this set and it looks like it's going to be given the Red Light once again.

    9. Surrender - 30%. Another good song from War is Surrender. And it had a good run from the War Tour through The Unforgettable Fire Tour, but from The Joshua Tree Tour through 360, it has never made an appearance. Surrender to me could've been a likable chance to make a comeback on the second leg of The Joshua Tree Tour it could've been played after I Still Haven't Found or The Unforgettable Fire in this tour, but may not have been enough for it. It also could've been a likable chance to return on the Popmart Tour maybe as a snippet to Last Night on Earth. But I don't think we'll ever see Surrender come back again.

    10. 40 - 100%. I know I've given this a 100% chance of it because it most likely could close the encore once again. Since 1983 thru 1987. 40's been the popular closer but the streak pretty much ended in April 1987 at the Start of The Joshua Tree Tour but it was still the usual closer, it was the usual closer on the Lovetown Tour although it didn't make some appearances on this tour. It missed the ZOOTV Tour as it was replaced by Love Is Blindness, likely we could've seen Love is Blindness and 40 end as a lullaby together on the ZOOTV Tour. 40 Somehow made it's return on the Popmart Tour as Edge played it on Electric Guitar. Edge and Adam would normally switch guitars when they would play 40 but not in this tour. However they played it as full band in 2001 on the All That You Can't Leave Behind Promo Tour but it never showed up on the Elevation Tour. It was just a snippet to Bad and Walk On. 40 did make a return to the Vertigo Tour in full form, it did close the shows on the first leg some, and some closed with Bad. Vertigo. With or Without You and All I Want Is You. 40 never made an appearance on the 360 tour but on the last night of this tour. 40 made an appearance to finally close out the Moncton Show and end the 360 tour. Could this mean that 40 might make a return to the setlist and end the show once again. It's possible, but there's a potential closer that could end the show and it might be "The Troubles", it looks like a possibility that The Troubles might end a tour and if that were to happen. That would be the seventh time a closer could end a set that's already ended in a CD. MLK ended The Unforgettable Fire CD and ended as a closer in 1997 through 1998. All I Want Is You ended The Rattle & Hum CD and ended as a closer in 2006 and even in 2011 at Nashville. Mothers Of The Disappeared only ended as a closer on the Joshua Tree Tour as it ended as a CD and ended as a closer on 4 shows on The Popmart Tour in 1998 and so did Love Is Blindness on the ZOOTV Tour as it was the closer on Achtung Baby and Wake Up Deadman on the Popmart Tour as it was the closer on Pop. But can 40 outlast The Troubles. Who knows?

That is all for War, next is The Unforgettable Fire. Again, comment and tell me what you think.

So far we've added Boy, October and War to the Tour Predictions, but we are about to predict which Unforgettable Fire Tracks will make it to the tour.

    The Unforgettable Fire

    1. A Sort Of Homecoming - 60%. I think this could be a 60% chance that it could sneak in this tour, considering we haven't seen it played in this tour in 13 years after a fan played guitar with Bono and Edge on the Elevation Tour in November of 2001. It has been a fan favorite on The Unforgettable Fire Tour, made some rarely appearances on The Joshua Tree Tour until it's final performance on the tour in Dublin. The song was resurrected on the Elevation Tour in the same state it was played in. It is a hometown song, It didn't make any appearances whenever the band was in Dublin for Lovetown. ZOOTV. Popmart. Vertigo and even the 360 tour. A Sort of Homecoming could've been a considered choice for the Dublin Lovetown Sets and even in the ZOOTV Dublin Concert as well, We know U2 have not announced the shows in their hometown yet, but it's very likely that they will announce their shows in their hometown and A Sort of Homecoming could sneak in on the Hometown Concerts, maybe in Acoustic or Electric Form. Have to wait and see for this one.

    2. Pride (In The Name of Love) - 100%. Pride definitely has to be the potential in this tour because since it's tour debut in 1984. Pride has been the die-hard song U2 fans have heard on stage. From The Unforgettable Fire to ZOOTV. Pride has been the closer in the main set but it did play early in the set on the first and third leg on The Joshua Tree Tour and even played as an encore on the Lovetown Tour. It closed a free concert in November 11. 1987, it would close a concert 2 times on the Lovetown Tour, but Pride rotated in the early set on the Popmart Tour from 1997 to 1998 until it's return to the closing and the encore set on the Elevation Tour. It would close the main set, it would be played early in the set and played in the encore. Pride would then be a 1, 2, 3, punch closer followed by Streets and One to end the Main Set in the Vertigo Tour, Pride was only played in the US in Chicago on the 360 tour but disappeared for 11 months until it's return in Helsinki. Pride would be played in some sort of capacity from time to time in this tour until it's eventual return to the set when it was followed after Elevation. Pride closed the set in over 10 years at the Glastonbury Festival. Could it be a strong possibility that Pride could end the main set or will it slip into the early set like it has been. But Pride is likely to be played in this tour.

    3. Wire - 20%. As I mentioned. With A Shout. Rejoice and Like A Song have made an appearance on a single tour. The other appearance on A single tour has to be Wire. Wire hasn't made a tour appearance since July of 1985 meaning it hasn't been played in 29 years. It potentially would've been a favorite to be in the Joshua Tree Tour, but it didn't work out that way. There's little hope that Wire could make it's return on this tour. But a 20% chance that it's not going to happen.

    4. The Unforgettable Fire - 50%. If you thought you saw the last of Unforgettable Fire, well in 2009. You were wrong after a 19-year absence. The Unforgettable Fire finally made it's return to the 360 tour Setlist after it's last performance was in January 6. 1990. The Unforgettable Fire was a regular on The Unforgettable Fire Tour and even in the Joshua Tree Tour, it made some rare appearances in the Lovetown Tour as well, but Bono and the Band resurrected the song in June of 2009 in the first leg of the 360 tour through the Third leg of the 360 tour which was in August of 2010. It has been four years since that song hasn't been played, but 2015 is almost lurking in the corner and could UF make another return before it runs out, that's why it's a 50% chance.

    5. Promenade - 25%. Mentioning Stranger In A Strange Land, Is That All, Drowning Man, The Refugee, Red Light. Here's another song that hasn't made a debut at all as well and that has to be Promenade. I would've thought Promenade could've made a likable chance to be debuted in the 1990's as a closer on the Popmart Tour with U2 ending One and it would be sequed to Promenade, could've been a nicer moment with One and Promenade ending together. And another fact, Promenade could end up making it's debut on the tour in an acoustic form. But I give it a 25% chance that it won't happen.

    6. Bad - 100%. Since it's tour debut in October of 1984. Bad has become a crowd pleaser to the U2 fans live, it never missed a tour in the mid 1980's. Bad had the distinction of being played 15 minutes long in The Unforgettable Fire Tour and also held the snippets of Ruby Tuesday. Sympathy For The Devil. Norwegian Wood and Walk on The Wild Side. Bad stayed in the regular set on the ZOOTV Tour until August 1993 when it disappeared, but rarely made a return on the Popmart Tour in 1998 until it's return to a regular set in 2001 which would be exchanged with All I Want Is You. In 2005. Bad became a closer on the Vertigo Tour 15 times rarely in the Vertigo Tour Set as well. Bad also made some rare appearances on the 360 tour, and it could make some rare appearances on the Innocence and Experience Tour as well. Cause it's a 100% chance that Bad is definitely going to be in this setlist.

    7. Indian Summer Sky - 15%. I wouldn't bet this song not on this tour being that it was played 9 times on The Unforgettable Fire Tour and never making it in any tour. I have a feeling it's going to stay that way.

    8. Elvis Presley and America - 45%. Perhaps one of my favorites on The Unforgettable Fire CD with "Promenade, Bad and UF as 3 of my favorites on this CD as well." I would've thought It had good potential to be played on some sort of tour, but maybe this could happen on this tour, perhaps we could see an acoustic version of this song. But I gave this a 45% cause it's highly unlikely. But Elvis Presley and America is still my favorite song on The Unforgettable Fire CD bar none.

    9. MLK - 60%. Now MLK was resurrected on the last tour because of Aung San Suu Kyi, but it has been a favorite since it's debut on the Unforgettable Fire Tour back in October of 1984. This song would seque into The Unforgettable Fire from The Unforgettable Fire Tour into the Lovetown Tour. But it would also seque into One Tree Hill as well. MLK didn't appear on the ZOOTV Tour but did make a return to the Popmart Tour and it was played as a lullaby acapella after One. Sometimes it did play before One, MLK also took a rest on the Elevation Tour, but did make an appearance in U2's 2002 Super Bowl Performance followed by Where The Streets Have No Name, MLK made 5 appearances on The Vertigo Tour closing the main set until it's eventual return to the 360 Tour it was dedicated to Aung San Suu Kyi as a plea to be released. MLK was taken out of the setlist on the fourth leg because Scarlet took MLK's place since Aung San Suu Kyi was now free, I think MLK might have a chance to be in the tour, but it will just be a rare appearance.

    10. The Three Sunrises - 15%. I'd like to see The Three Sunrises in this tour, but I'd give it a 15% chance of not being in this tour. It could sneak in as an acoustic version. But it's an unlikely chance that we will never see The Three Sunrises in a tour again.

That's all for The Unforgettable Fire. The Joshua Tree will be posted sometime later this afternoon or this evening.
  2. Hi John,

Figured one topic makes more sense than 4 (or even a dozen), so I copy/pasted all your articles in this one topic.
  3. These are from atu2 aren't they?
  4. For others: feel free to add your own to this topic, based on a particular, or all, CD's
  5. Ah right, well I have some reading to do then.
  6. The Joshua Tree

    1. Where The Streets Have No Name - 100%. A big opener on the CD and it was very much a big opener on The Joshua Tree and Lovetown Tour and since it's live debut on the first night of the Joshua Tree Tour. It has never missed a tour, the only time it missed was in November 18. 1989, but Streets has been the vocal point in all the tours. Streets migrated into the middle part of the set back in the 1990's, and was a closer on The Popmart Tour, and in the last tour it became a first encore Closer. So it looks like Streets will be played in the concert.

    2. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - 100%. Perhaps another song that's definitely made a 100% chance in this tour and that is I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. Ever since it's debut along with Where The Streets Have No Name in 1987. It has been on every single tour, it closed a main set on the ZOOTV Tour, This song also featured snippets of "Exodus". "Stand By Me" "Movin on Up" and "In A Little While". I think this could be played well as an acoustic note in these Acoustic Concerts. So you'll get to see 2 likable songs. Streets and I Still Haven't Found in the Innocence and Experience set.

    3. With or Without You - 100%. Definitely deserves a 100% chance since it's tour debut in 1987 and that is With or Without You. It's been played in the encore a lot of times. And it looks as if we could see it played in the encore, or maybe it could sneak in the middle of the main set, I've always thought that since this CD came out. It could work well with "Sleep Like A Baby Tonight" in the encore. WOWY's closed some shows before, that might happen again, it could be the final tune of the night, but I wouldn't want to give hope for 40 and The Troubles just yet. I think The Troubles might be a possible candidate as the Final Tune, I don't know but I know With or Without You will most definitely be in this tour.

    4. Bullet The Blue Sky - 75%. On the last tour. Bullet The Blue Sky did not make an appearance, ever since it debuted in 1987. It has remained on tour through the Vertigo Tour, and would open up an encore on The Joshua Tree. Lovetown and The Elevation Tour. Bullet definitely changed a lot from the 1990's with Edge changing the slide solo to a guitar solo. I would definitely love to hear Bono say "Outside it's America" and then go into the guitar solo instead of the slide solo. Another theory is that it could be sequed with Raised By Wolves. A Bullet The Blue Sky/Raised By Wolves seque is highly likely, but I think Bullet deserves a 75% chance. Maybe we could see it make a rare appearance in these concerts.

    5. Running To Stand Still - 35%. Running to Stand Still will most certainly be one of an all-time favorites from The Joshua Tree CD. Since it's debut, it's made a lot of tour appearances, Bullet and Running pretty much worked well together, both stayed together until December 1993. The song never made it to the Popmart Tour although it could've been used as an ending medley to One and it didn't make it to the Elevation Tour as well although it was snippeted twice, but did make it's return with Bullet The Blue Sky in the Vertigo Tour. Bullet and Running made a brief comeback together in the set until Miss Sarajevo took Running to Stand Still's place. It looks like I'm giving this a 35% chance. But then again, it could sneak into one of the acoustic intimate sets. But I think Running To Stand Still has floated out of a set.

    6. Red Hill Mining Town - 20%. The only song on the Joshua Tree that has not been in a tour is possibly one of my favorites from this CD and that is Red Hill Mining Town. Red Hill was considered to be played on The Joshua Tree Tour but Bono had difficulty singing this song. We'll never know why, but it could've had a possible chance to be on this tour. Really what could've worked well in the last tour is that we could've seen a seque between Unknown Caller and Red Hill Mining Town, it could've worked well together. Maybe Red Hill could find it's place in an acoustic set, but it's highly unlikely.

    7. In God's Country - 45%. Next to Red Hill Mining Town, this is one of my all-time favorites from The Joshua Tree. In God's Country had a great run on The Joshua Tree Tour from 1987 til it made some rare appearances on The Lovetown Tour in 1989 and never made the ZOOTV and Popmart Tour, it could've worked well acoustic on the ZOOTV and Popmart Tour as well. But it made a rare return at the final leg of the Elevation Tour acoustically making 4 appearances, it's last performance was in December 2. 2001. But it has been snippeted in the middle of Beautiful Day. In God's Country could have a chance of making it back to the set, but I don't think it will.

    8. Trip Through Your Wires - 15%. with it's rare debut in 1986. I Think Trip Through Your Wires may have been rough in the Joshua Tree Tour although it was the third song of the set, but that's just my opinion. And it has only been played on a single tour next to Rejoice. With A Shout. Like A Song. Wire and Indian Summer Sky. It looks like Trip Through Your Wires will keep staying under a 28-year drought.

    9. One Tree Hill - 85%. I definitely think that this deserves a 85% because of it's rare appearances in New Zealand. And One Tree Hill never debuted in the first and second leg of the Joshua Tree Tour until the Third Leg, it played very well on the Lovetown Tour taking The Unforgettable Fire's place with MLK. As you know One Tree Hill is dedicated to the memory of Greg Carroll. One Tree Hill made it's final appearance in January 9. 1990, until they resurrected this song 16 years later in New Zealand and even on the 360 tour when they visited New Zealand, it made 4 appearances as well on the Vertigo Tour. U2 haven't said anything about touring New Zealand yet, but it's a likable chance that they will and One Tree Hill is likely to be in the set in that state.

    10. Exit - 30%. I Can't see this come back in the set again, it did well in the Joshua Tree Tour and it only made a one-time appearance on the Lovetown Tour, but that was it, I would've potentially seen a return of this on the Popmart Tour dedicated to Timothy McVeigh but that didn't happen. So Exit is a 30% chance that it won't be in this setlist.

    11. Mothers Of The Disappeared - 80%. You might think that Mothers of The Disappeared was very rare on all 4 Popmart concerts when the band visited Chile. but it also made some rare appearances on The Joshua Tree Tour in the encore. Everytime the band had visited Chile. Mothers of The Disappeared would be in the set on the Popmart Tour and the Vertigo Tour. But it made a rare surprise in the 360 tour in South America taking MLK's place 3 times. Although the band have not considered going to Chile in this tour, but if they do, it's a 80% chance that Mothers makes it in this tour probably in an acoustic form.

    12. Luminous Times (Hold On To Love) - 35%. I think Luminous Times would've worked well in the last tour because Edge stated that Luminous Times would be fun to play on the 360 tour. but it never showed up on this tour. It could be brought on this tour for the First Time as an acoustic set. But I don't see that happening.

    13. Spanish Eyes - 45%. this certainly was a rare gem on the Joshua Tree Tour. It was played on the second leg and the third leg. It only made one appearance on ZOOTV. The Elevation Tour and on the 360 Tour. U2 might visit Spain in this tour so who's to say Spanish Eyes could be in this set, maybe a stripped-down acoustic version of this song.

    14. Sweetest Thing - 25%. An unreleased gem never heard since 1998 when U2 re-made Sweetest Thing on the 1980's-1990's CD. This 1990's Version of The Sweetest Thing is much better than the old version of The Sweetest Thing. It made an appearance on The Elevation Tour with Bono on Keys, maybe it could make a return to the setlist, but I give this a 25% chance it doesn't happen.

That's all for the Joshua Tree CD. Next up will be Rattle and Hum
  7. Rattle and Hum

    1. Van Diemen's Land - 20%. A song that hasn't been played in tour for almost 21 years since 1993. The last performance of this song was in December of 2008 when Bono and Edge did some Acoustic Songs down at the Point Depot. Van Diemen's Land has been played solo by Edge since the CD and in the Lovetown Tour. Maybe if Bono. Larry and Adam can take a break. Edge can play it solely like he has before, but don't bet on Van Diemen's Land being in the set.

    2. Desire - 100%. I am totally giving this a 100% in this one. You can tell that Desire has been played on tour many times since it's debut on The Lovetown Tour and migrated into the encore on the ZOOTV Tour. Desire took a break in the last leg but made a return in the Popmart Tour in the second leg but this was some rare appearances of Desire. Desire then made it into the Elevation Tour as it was stripped down with Edge on Electric Guitar. Larry on a Tom Tom and Adam on bass. It also wasn't on 3 of the Vertigo Legs, Eventually it did show up on the fourth leg stripped down and then on the fifth leg where it was played regular electric style and on the 360 tour, it made rare appearances as it was played acoustic, Desire made the first leg, but did not make the second nor the third leg, Desire did make an appearance on the final Fourth Leg Show in Perth as it was played electric. And in Mexico City as it was stripped down acoustic. Desire's been used in some off-tour appearances as well, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see Desire in the set.

    3. Hawkmoon 269 - 25%. Hawkmoon like all the others has been played on a single tour. Hawkmoon 269 would open up the show 8 times on The Lovetown Tour, but it's last performance was in December 18. 1989, and it has been 25 years since we've seen this song played, And I see Hawkmoon not being on the set ever again.

    4. Angel of Harlem - 95%. Besides missing the Popmart Tour. Angel of Harlem has been on tour more times, on the Lovetown Tour. It started as a horn orchestra, and then on the ZOOTV Tour, it was played in acoustic form. But since the 2000's. It has been done electric style, but it has made some rare appearances. Angel of Harlem did not make the Popmart Tour but did make it's return on the Second Night of the Elevation Tour, it almost failed to miss the second leg but was resurrected in the Second Leg and stayed throughout the Elevation Tour. Angel of Harlem did not make the first and second leg on the Vertigo Tour, until a rare performance on the Third Leg with a fan on guitar. Then it made it's return on the fifth leg in a full set, Angel of Harlem did make it on the first night of the 360 tour and it made some appearances here and there in this tour, maybe we could see Angel of Harlem make a return to the Innocence and Experience Tour, will it be played in electric form or acoustic form.

    5. Love Rescue Me - 55%. Possibly another favorite off of Rattle and Hum is definitely Love Rescue Me, it's been done in the encore on the Lovetown Tour. It has closed a main set and sometimes it's closed a show on the tour with BB King and his orchestra. Love Rescue Me took a well deserved break on the ZOOTV, Popmart, Elevation and Vertigo Tour although it was used as a snippet at the end of All I Want Is You down in Sao Paulo, but Love Rescue Me after a 20-year absence did make a return on the 360 tour eventually as it made rare appearances after it was followed by All I Want Is You. But I've given this a 55% chance, cause it could sneak in the set somewhere, maybe played in an acoustic form. But I think Love Rescue Me had a day in the sun on the 360 tour.

    6. When Love Comes To Town - 60%. This song hasn't been played in full since 1993. In the Lovetown Tour. The Band and BB King would play this song almost every single night with a horn section, then on the ZOOTV Tour, it was done acoustic style with Edge doing BB King's vocals. Then BB King played with Bono and Edge again on When Love Comes To Town 15 years later without Larry and Adam. But can When Love Comes To Town make a return to the set, and if so will it be played as an acoustic version or will they do an electric version of this song.

    7. Heartland - 25%. Another favorite off of Rattle and Hum has to be Heartland although it's been never done in a tour, but it was snippeted on the Lovetown Tour to the intro to Where The Streets Have No Name, but that was it. And I think it's possible that Heartland could be in the set as an acoustic version. But it's looking unlikely, looks like Heartland might wait for it's turn on the next tour soon.

    8. God Part II - 20%. Here's another song that's been played on a single tour and that is God Part II. God Part II somewhat never missed a tour on the Lovetown Tour, although it was the opener on the first night in Dublin and in Rotterdam as well taking Hawkmoon's place. But it's final performance was in January 9. 1990 and it's been 24 years since this song has been on a tour. And it looks like God Part II will be staying out of the tour once again

    9. All I Want Is You - 100%. Next to Love Rescue Me and Heartland. All I Want Is You is my third favorite on the Rattle and Hum CD. And since it's debut in 1989 live. It has never missed a tour. All I Want Is You was done electric style on the Lovetown until it was played by Bono on the ZOOTV Tour. Then it went back to it's electric form on the Popmart Tour and it hasn't been played acoustic since. Many people thought that All I Want Is You would not make it to the 360 tour. But on the Fourth Leg, people thought wrong as it made it's resurrection in Australia, and made some rare appearances on the 360 tour even staying throughout the first half of the fifth leg followed by an acoustic version of Stay (Faraway So Close), but can All I Want Is You find a permanent place in this tour set or will it still be used in rare appearances. I hope it returns to the set myself too.

That's all for Rattle and Hum, it's time to head to Achtung Baby right now.
  8. Allright, we've been predicting what kind of 1980's songs that will happen on this tour, now it's time to go to the 1990's.

    Achtung Baby

    1. Zoo Station - 45%. You may keep Zoo Station down, but never forget the guitar intro that starts off the CD and that started off the ZOOTV Tour as the opener. It never missed a ZOOTV Concert, but it was left off of Popmart. Elevation, until it was resurrected in the Vertigo Tour in the encore and it was considered a potential to be on the last leg of the 360 tour with U2 doing From The Sky Down, but it was not happening. Sure Zoo Station has had a day in the sun, but I could see it make a return in this tour, if not maybe rare appearances.

    2. Even Better Than The Real Thing - 70%. You had to think that U2 was resurrecting songs in the 360 tour and Even Better Than The Real Thing didn't disappoint in the sixth leg, EBTTRT made it's return after a 10-year absence and became the new opener on the 360 tour Concert. It looks like Even Better Than The Real Thing could potentially make it in the tour, but we just may keep an eye on that, it could happen mid-set or in the encore.

    3. One - 100%. The only song that has never missed a concert and that is One. It's been very much of a big crowd pleaser everytime the band do this song. So there is no doubt that One will be in this tour, I would love for once to hear an Electric One in the first show, and an acoustic One with the Orchestra. But One is set to be in this show, and it might even close the show too. And if it did, it will have been 13 years since One closed a show, it was August 2001 when One closed the show, but maybe we could see One and Where The Streets Have No Name be sequed together in this tour. It's definitely going to happen.

    4. Until The End of The World - 85%. Another song that has been played on concert, but missed a few shows and that is Until The End of The World. UTEOTW has been on almost every single concert since The Band's ZOOTV came out, it sequed well with New Year's Day throughout the ZOOTV Tour and the 360 tour. Sequed well with The Unforgettable Fire in the same tour as well. Both Until The End of The World and The Unforgettable Fire were deserving candidates to be put in the set together on the 360 tour. I don't think they may put this song out yet. I know this song is 22 years old, but it's still got some life in concerts.

    5. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses - 30%. Next to Zoo Station. Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses was in the ZOOTV Tour, but it also was left off Popmart and Elevation although the song was snippeted in Bad. But it would make it's rebirth on the Vertigo Tour at the end of the First Leg in Boston in an electric version, they did that in the second leg, but stripped it back down acoustic on the third leg and also was a surprise appearance at the last Vertigo Tour. But failed to make an appearance on the 360 tour. But Bono and the band have been talking about Acoustic Performances. It may be an awesome chance to see Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses in an acoustic set, it could happen.

    6. So Cruel - 20%. Next to all the songs I mentioned in a single tour. So Cruel has to be that too, It made somewhat 3 appearances on the ZOOTV Tour and it was snippeted in Bad at that tour as well. I really don't see So Cruel in the set as well unless it surprises us in the acoustic set as well. But there's no chance So Cruel will never be in a set again.

    7. The Fly - 90%. As a Achtung Baby Fan, I was really happy to see The Fly back on tour in the last leg of the 360 tour. The Fly never missed the ZOOTV Tour and stayed that way, but didn't make the Popmart Tour, The Fly did make a return on the Elevation Tour with Bono harmonizing different lyrics as you'll see in the Boston 2001 show and the "shine like a burning star" at the start followed by full band, The Fly returned on the Vertigo Tour with the ZOOTV Version and reunited with Zoo Station in the encore. On the 360 tour, many didn't expect The Fly to come back in the set. But on the last leg, it did because U2 were celebrating a 20-year anniversary of Achtung Baby. I'm giving this a 90%. But I don't think it may find a place in the setlist, it will probably be some rare appearances, but who knows.

    8. Mysterious Ways - 90%. You mix up another ingredient on Achtung Baby, the guitar riff, once you know that riff, it means that you're moving in Mysterious Ways. Mysterious Ways was the sixth song never to miss a tour on the ZOOTV Tour, it also never missed a tour in Popmart as it was played as an encore. And did show up on The Elevation Tour and The Vertigo Tour as well, the band planned to use an acoustic version of Mysterious Ways on the 360 tour, but that didn't work well so they used it as full band without Edge using his slide solo. Mysterious Ways would also be among a ZOOTV madness at the last leg with Even Better Than The Real Thing being 1st, The Fly being the second song, Mysterious Ways as the Third Song and Until The End of The World being the fourth song. Boy, was that an awesome tour. But getting back to Mysterious Ways. It definitiely deserves a place in the set, I would love to see it sequed into "Raised By Wolves" or "Cedarwood Road".

    9. Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World - 30%. I don't think this song has the chance to return to a tour, it had some good runs in the ZOOTV/Zooropa tour. But it was just another song that was played in a single tour. It had the chance to return 17 years later as it was Soundchecked in Turin. But couldn't find a place to put it. It could be a possibility that it may come back in the acoustic sets down the line, but I don't see it happening.

    10. Ultraviolet (Light My Way) - 55%. No one would think Ultraviolet would make an encore in another tour once again, but we thought wrong on the 360 Tour after it's 16-year absence. Ultraviolet was finally resurrected and it was played in the encore similar to ZOOTV but this time it was the opener and it was followed by another song that played after Ultraviolet and that was With or Without You. Ultraviolet took a little hiatus for a little bit as Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me and Kill Me took it's place but they exchanged opening encores with one another, so I think Ultraviolet has a 55% chance of a comeback, not that it could happen, but I'm just saying, I think we could see a rare acoustic version of this song in these intimate sets, I've always wondered an Acoustic Ultraviolet. But too early to tell, just gotta wait and see in this tour.

    11. Acrobat - 25%. There are die-hard U2 fans that have been waiting for a chance to see Acrobat in a tour given the fact that it hasn't been in a U2 Concert, it was soundchecked back in 1992. But never made it to the concert, It's a rare chance we could see Acrobat in the tour because U2 are most known for many things, they brought The First Time and Miss Sarajevo for the first time in the Vertigo Tour. And they brought Your Blue Room and Scarlet in the 360 tour, and it seems like Acrobat might have it's chance, I could see it being played as an encore as well too. or sneak in the middle part of the main-set maybe it could be sequed into Cedarwood Road. But for the die-hard U2 fans, you might have to wait if Acrobat makes it in the tour.

    12. Love Is Blindness - 65%. You might be surprised why I've given this a 65%, we haven't seen this since the ZOOTV Tour, only it did make a rare appearance on the Vertigo Tour and that was it. But on From The Sky Down Documentary. You can see Edge did a good job singing this by himself on an acoustic guitar, perhaps we could see Edge play Love is Blindness solo somewhat in this tour, or maybe it could be a full band version of this song, but I don't think this song won't be in the encore. It had it's fair share in the encore in 1992 through 1993, but this time it may not be in the encore.

    13. Heaven and Hell - 15%. A song that has never been heard before, only from the Achtung Baby Outtakes and that is Heaven and Hell. Heaven and Hell has never been on a tour, but why I am giving this a 15% chance. Because I would like to see Heaven and Hell be in this tour. I know it may not happen, but U2 need to take some chances here if they want to be doing all these acoustic sets.

    14. Blow Your House Down - 35%. Made as a rare acoustic version on the Beach in the Rattle and Hum DVD outtakes back in 1987. Blow Your House Down was also in the Achtung Baby outtakes and was remastered on the 20th Anniversary of Achtung Baby, It's a sister song to "All Because Of You", but possibly this song could fit in sequed with "Volcano". But I don't think Blow Your House Down will make an appearance in this tour.
  9. Zooropa

    1. Zooropa - 60%. After a 18-year absence. Zooropa made it's return to the 360 tour since August of 1993. It made 3 appearances on the ZOOTV Tour, but didn't last very much longer until it's return to the 360 tour. Now with Zooropa's chances of being in this set look a 60% bet. I could see it in the encore too, but odds are Zooropa had a one-time deal in the 360 tour. So it might not happen. I'm just saying.

    2. Babyface - 15%. Yes I'm giving this a 15% and Why is because it made 5 tour appearances on ZooTV Tour and didn't have the chance to make it in the early stages of Main Set, it could've worked well with Even Better Than The Real Thing. But that didn't happen. So Babyface's chances are completely down the drain.

    3. Numb - 45%. Another solo classic played by Edge, it was played for most of the late part of the ZOOTV Tour from July through the end of the tour in December. But I think Numb has a chance to be in the setlist, however it's been 21 years since this song has been on tour. So I wouldn't give hope for Numb at least just yet,

    4. Lemon - 30%. As many of you know this song is also about Bono's mother. Tomorrow, I Will Follow, Iris and Mofo have always been about Bono's mother. So there may be a possibility that we could see Lemon in the set if Iris was to be in the setlist as well. But can Bono hit the falsetto notes in Lemon. We might have to find out, but I don't think Lemon might be in the set after all.

    5. Stay (Faraway So Close) - 95%. Stay has been perhaps kinda an acoustic crowd-pleaser in many types of tours. It started as Full Band on the ZOOTV Tour. But it didn't make an appearance on the Popmart Tour although it was rehearsed electric if any YouTubers are out there that could see this gem only. Stay made it's return to the Elevation Tour in Acoustic Form but missed the Vertigo Tour, however it returned six years later in a special show in Islington. And it returned in the 360 tour for the First Leg, but didn't make the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth leg until it returned to the Last Leg. So Stay is likely to be a candidate in this tour with the acoustic performances being talked about.

    6. Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car - 5%. Giving this a 5% cause it made some tour appearances at the last leg of the ZOOTV Tour and didn't show up on the Popmart Tour and Elevation Tour, though it did make a snippet in The Fly in the Vertigo Tour, but it had it's day in the ZOOTV Sun.

    7. The First Time - 50%. No one thought we would see this song on concert until September 2005 when it was here on the Vertigo Tour, the first time it was played Electric Style but Bono and Edge did it acoustic on the third, fourth and fifth legs. So I would consider The First Time making a comeback to the set since they've been talking about Acoustic performances, and this could be a perfect opportunity to do it.

    8. Dirty Day - 25%. Dirty Day has been probably an awesome song to hit the ZOOTV Tour, it is kind of a dark eerie song but I don't see this dark song to hit this tour.

    9. The Wanderer - 50%. It would be a good time for U2 to nail The Wanderer, many of you know that Johnny Cash joined the band on vocals in this song. The Song was never played on the ZOOTV Tour and throughout the Popmart and Elevation tour. But it did show up as a rehearsal in the Vertigo Tour, but it was used on TV for a Johnny Cash Special. That was the first time The Wanderer made an appearance, then it made a snippet appearance in the 360 tour in Nashville after I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. Shoo, I would've let them play the whole song instead. That would've did wonders, so I give this a 50%, cause the acoustic performances. Maybe they could belt out an Acoustic Wanderer,
  10. I'm not up to doing Passengers and Pop, can anybody do that for me.
  11. Do pop at least
