Just go back and quote your post, someone will see it eventually. When those threads are busy, it is easy to lose track of posts. I had to go back 20+ pages in the Vancouver topic to respond to a post by Bloodraven. It's best to keep discussion in the relevant threads unless you feel a really good, lengthy discussion can come from opening a new topic. There's not a lot to really add to this one, no-one's going to disagree and argue that the drunk people make for an excellent bootleg
