It's likely the single will get radioplay before its official release and its not uncommon for U2 to play unreleased tunes.
  2. Any news of the band being in Detroit?

  3. Exactly, a week away. They're going to be there soon enough for rehearsals. Stage will start construction any day now.
  4. Number of changes expected: 0
  5. One can always hope, and I sincerely wish they proved me wrong

And of course they will add in Best Thing for Detroit, that's almost a certainty. Although they might want for the single to be officially released first (8 Sept).

    Or Blackout.
(Side note, is it Blackout or The Blackout?)
  7. Some fun facts:

    U2 hasn't played in Michigan since 2011
U2 hasn't played in the Detroit area since 2005
U2 hasn't played in the actual city of Detroit proper since 1984

Looking forward to having them back!
  8. I can't believe this is just a few days away!
  9. I wonder if they play The Blackout and if they do where? To open the encore? To close a la Vertigo from some shows this tour. I guess it could be a cool closer, especially with the main line "when the lights go out"
