  5. 1 or 2
  6. 4
  7. 3 but i'm feeing a bit down after hearing it half a dozen times, I wish u2 would abandon this rock/pop mainstream sounding style and go back to being experimental
  8. 4 stars for the video.
5 stars for the live performance in Amsterdam.
  9. 3. Not bad but nothing that got me super excited. Maybe the album version is better.
  10. I'd say 5 but in reality it's veering between 4.5 & 4.9!

What would've made this song perfect for me would've been an Edge guitar solo (even if it followed the melody) and vocal push from Bono (i.e. pre-ABOY guitar solo), in the bridge for added intesnity to an already intense song.

But apart from all that, all I've gotta say is....

    WOOOOOOOOOW!!!!

Everything from this song oozes amazing!! Larry's pounding drums, Adam's deep, driving bass, Edge's rawer yet SLIGHTLY melodic guitar and Bono's vocal chops (especally the middle)! Modern meets ancient! Funk meets Post Punk! Reminds me of The Clash for some odd reason.

Even though this isn't their "first" single, this is easily their most "Punk" song since War and their most INTENSE since Achtung Baby! Maybe even more than Vertigo if you wanna get recent about it.

But yeah! Easily their best song in years for me! Flaws and all.
