1. Who is the most religious band member in u2? I heared The Edge had doubts becoming a band member originally because of his beliefs. It surprised me a bit that he's quite religious, I don't no why it just surprised me. Also is it true that Adam almost left the band because he felt like an outsider because he does not believe in all that? I'm amazed they have never split due to their conflicting interests. I don't normally read about the lives of famous people, but wow im a little surprised having read stuff about U2 on Wilikpedia.
  2. one, but not the same eh?

They love each other in spite of their weaknesses, asall good friends should.
  3. When i read a book over Bono, i saw he's also very religious, just as the Edge and Larry
It's true that Adam thinks different about that

But as MacPhistFly says, it's so great that they can live with the difference of each other
The reason why so many other bands split up...
  4. Indeed, many bands get succesful and when they become famous and money is getting important, they usually split up. U2 didn't, and that's also one reason for their great succes.

Bono, Edge and Larry are indeed religic and Adam is the 'outsider'...
  5. They maybe were religious, but Bono said that he has deep doubts about religion.

There is difference between religion and faith in God.

So, I would call them believers, not religious people.

    you're right
  8. It's quite funny (or scary, take your pick) to imagine that U2 could have split up around October...

War, Sunday Bloody Sunday, 40, Red Rocks / Under a Blood Red Sky...
Unforgettable Fire, Bad, Wide Awake In America, Live Aid...
Conspiracy of Hope, Joshua Tree, Where the Streets Have No Name, Rattle And Hum film / album...
Lovetown, "Dream It All Up Again," New Year's Concert...
Achtung Baby, Zoo TV, Zooropa, ZooDublin, Live From Sydney, Passengers, Miss Sarajevo...
    Pop "flops," PopMart, Popheart, Sarajevo...
All That You Can't Leave Behind, Elevation Tour, Boston DVD / Live from NBA Finals...
Slane, Post-9/11 NYC 3rd Leg, Super Bowl XXXVI...
How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb, Brooklyn Bridge (I was there!), Vertigo Tour...

hmmm... my identity would be quite different without any of that.

My life would be really different too and this site would never exist! But luckily they didn't split up
  10. Yep, so that's a great example how beautiful the world would be with some more tolerance...

you're correct. and you are about to know, God doesn't want us to be religious. He cares less about being religious but he cares that we should follow him. I think you know what i'm talking about.
