1. I'm not sure if this has been brought up, I imagine it has but I didn't notice where -

w/ the US & UK lists put already and no word from U2 or Coldplay, any guesses which stage they'll show up at?

Where would they have a bigger impact? The list of performers for Brazil, Tokyo, Sydney, Johannesburg and (no kidding) Antarctica have not been posted yet.

Coldplay just finished a South American tour so I'm not sure if they'll go back to pick up the momentum or what.. Same goes for U2 in Tokyo.. and I think this is what Larry meant by "see you soon" in Hawaii.

Does anyone agree that both bands will not be playing at the same venue?
  2. U2 will not be playing at all at Live Earth, they shouldn't do that too imho. They were always such big consumers with gigantic tours and if they will participate they will be flown in by private planes too, I think it's a bit strange to then sing for the environment.

    That's true

But now my remark is : Bono wants to do so much for Africa (which is a very good thing) but U2 won't help changing the world and help to stop the global warming...
  4. bono is bound to make an appearance somewhere!

You're right. It's a political show, so there is a chance he appears there and surprises us.
  6. Global Warming is a hoax, i don't buy it.

Hmm for me it's not normal that it's 30°C at my room when it's April (normal temperature is 14 °C )
And then i haven't said anything yet about the hurricane seasons in USA or the costs (10 billion !) Holland will have to be sure the land doesn't became water again... So i think it's quite serious

Anyway, i don't think U2 will be at Live Earth because of the energy they used with the concerts (as said before), which is a shame actually... But maybe show has its price...

You definately don't believe in it but i won't try to convince you (btw we're getting of topic again...)

Is anyone going to a Live Earth concert actually ?
  10. I love global warming..28 Celsius in the middle of April!
  11. Yeah I'm really surprised because after the ground they've gained in the last two years I almost don't get why they wouldn't play regardless of the private jet factor - with that said, if you google "u2 live earth" you'll see a few headlines kicked back, including an article posted on u2france.com

    what the dilly yo?!?!
  12. It'll probably be on TV. It's going to be held here in Sydney.
