  1. Grab the popcorn and connect U2.com to your TV, as we will have a watch party here listening and watching the U2 Experience from Berlin in HD

If you're a subscriber then go to the U2.com website at the designated time and tune in. This show is also available on demand afterwards.
  2. Can't wait!
  3. The one thing that is still on.
  4. Shit, U2 just cancelled their upcoming world tour.
  5. I wonder if Metallica is going to cancel theirs.
  6. Hi, maybe a stupid question:
I will connect my HD TV with my MacBook; the MacBook Screen is not full HD (I don't know the exact resolution, maybe it's "HD ready".
The relevant resolution is the TV resolution, right? So I will watch it in full HD as the TV screen is full HD?

    1. What Macbook do you have?
    2. How are you connecting?
    3. The relevant resolution is actually whats displaying on your laptop, however your TV may upscale.

Ultimately I'm pretty sure you will be watching a HD stream on your TV later.

MacBook Air 13" from 2012. The screen resolution is 1440x900.

    2. How are you connecting?
HDMI cable from my TV, connected with the MacBook with an adaptor, Mini Displayport --> HDMi

Aaah ok that's bad. The TV has internet access but I'm not sure if this will be stable, depending on where the broadcast will happen. Is this on U2.com directly, or Facebook?

Yes I'm sure too I will watch the HD stream on my TV later, but I also want tonight
Maybe I stream it via my iMac, it has HD resolution. It's just a bit inconvenient cause I have to move the iMac from my study to the living room..which is more easier with a laptop
The good thing is that iMac connection would be via Ethernet while MacBook is WIFI only.
  9. If anyone is on windows 10 and has a smart tv, you can use miracast to display your laptop screen on the telly.

  10. Yes I meant with your setup you will be able to watch the stream tonight in HD.
  11. I don't have any friends that are fans of U2...my "U2 friends" are spread around the globe, so I have to watch it on my own at home tonight.

"Yes I meant with your setup you will be able to watch the stream tonight in HD."
I thought HD won't work as my MacBook screen doesn't have HD resolution?

BTW I think my TV supports Miracast... but this does not work with an Apple computer?
