I love it because it that combo of that angelic voice and the "sleezy ballroom jiggle". I've done a few new ones that I will post including one that I just started yesterday and is very interesting

Have you ever heard "Begging You" from The Stone Roses? Someone on the internet suggested that that had a heavy influence on "Discotheque" so I went ahead and found out.. Will post later..
  2. I'm not a Stone Roses fan, I've tried to get into them but they just don't click with me
  3. @LikeASong Have you tried Waterfall or I Wanna Be Adored yet? The main kick I get out of them is that epic drummer (Reni). They're masters of Groove but didn't have enough "songs" I guess..
  4. Ok, so this was the song that was said to have "influenced" the beats on Discotheque:

Yeah I've tried all the main "hits" (if you may call them so) and even their Spotify "This Is #"... They just don't do it for me.
  6. So I had a first go at mixing the 2 up into a single "song" They're both quite frantic songs so the result is frenzy hot mess.

    - The tempo was exactly the same, and I just had Larry and Reni landing on the same kickdrum at the start
    - Larry fades out after the first 25 seconds and then it's Bono/Adam alternating with Ian/Mani for vocals/bass (Edge is on the whole track)
