1. This February 28 (celebrating 30 years), we reupload the full concert to YouTube.
  2. ZOO TV deserves an official audio CD with a complete concert! New York Outside Broadcast leg should be the chosen one!
  3. 'canned' crowd noise - well that turns up on most official 'live' albums as does laying down bass, guitar, drum and vocals if they weren't right on the night but as with tv shows they are annoying and false-sounding

best way for fans to remix this recording is to get an audience recording from a zoo gig - you know, one where you can't really hear the band over the crowd - and then mix that in as it'll most probably have the original set-list running order and therefore it's easier to blend in but it'll still be 'canned' (see above)

but all this shite talk about upscaling the picture quality - you simply can't

you can stretch and replace the image, fix colours and contrast, edit out artefacts and 'sharpen' it (all that will improve the 'look' but will degrade the image to another gen) and then convert the image size to HD, ultra HD and 4K but that doesn't make it HD, ultra HD or 4K - it only seems it does (trust me on that one as it's like remastering an mp3 and then converting it to a lossless - anyone with an iota of audio editing will understand that)

and with all this upscaling and audio remastering - it's lost on the majority of fans as they'll listen/watch on their phones and then they'll do that through inferior ear buds AND other things will come into play like how is their hearing and where do they listen to it? as they're walking through a busy city? waste of time

most of (not all of) these 'upgrades' are just an exercise for self aggrandising narcissistic individuals
  4. I think the upgrades whether true upgrades or not make for a more enjoyable watching and in some instances listening experience where audio remastering has been done too. Surely U2 in Adelaide is being watched mainly by big fans who will at least go to the effort of putting it on the tv? I don’t agree at all that the majority of people watching it are doing so going through a busy city, traveling etc. I think you’re being very cynical. A lot of people doing these are big fans as well and whilst it’s probably hard work will enjoy the end results and sharing these results publicly for others to enjoy. Think you’re out of order with your comments tbh.

As Bono said during ZooTV- It's all very realistic 🤣
