U2 have a deal signed to stream all this material on a platform. It's supposedly coming, but probably not just yet. So I expect all of this work is being done with that in mind. It was this upscaled show which was also being shown in Las Vegas when Zoo Station was open.
I have managed to rip the CD's of this show from my boxset into my PC and transfer to my phone thankfully so can still enjoy this show on the go, it seems weird how they added the full deluxe boxset of ATYCLB along with the included live show to streaming platforms but not this one,

  2. This info pleases me, I hope it will be released this Friday. There would be no other time to launch other than this.

I don't blame them. No one buys music anymore so if I was in a band I would do the same thing.
  4. Edit: not allowed
  5. we can definitely agree that nobody is buying music anymore except die hard fans, it's still an odd choice to omit it from the digital platforms though when the joshua tree super deluxe and ATYCLB super deluxe both made it to streaming in their entirety, nobody other than an avid fan of U2 is dropping £120 on a boxset for that live show, such a shame they didn't include a download code. Still, it's a superb set,

Yeah. I’d like to think of myself as a pretty avid fan but I can’t justify purchasing any of these box sets. I’d love to have the Chicago audio for my phone (I really only listen to live U2 music anymore) but if they aren’t going to make it available on streaming services I’ll just have to use my audio rip from the DVD I bought oh so long ago!

They created the work, they can decide how they distribute it or if not at all.
  8. Ok, thanks for the positive input. jesus lol
  9. I think the band or their team put more focus on the overall package rather than just the audio content. I’d prefer they went the other way. The Bob Dylan live boxsets are ideal. Still nice enough but not over the top packaging and lots of material. But you can tell the band place a bigger importance on the artwork.
  10. The artwork for HTDAAB was quite enjoyable.
  11. It’s good but not as good as hearing more unreleased stuff would have been. I’m ok with it but I know I would prefer more unreleased material (live or studio) over fancy artwork.
