  1. does anyone know the position of the taper from the Saitama III recording?... there's like no crowd noise what so ever... it's like he's hanging from the roof or something lol...
  2. It's an earpiece recording..but Bono's voice sometimes sounds like he's a mile away or somethin'.

    It's not his position, it's his equipment, those Japanese people are having the highest technology available and with a little bit good mixing they are able to make such great recordings.
  5. I know it about the equipment, but he/she also had to be in a higher place than normal. Maybe some of the light-technicians, which are actually 3 or 4 meters higher than the Audience. Or maybe he was on the sound-desk, I have heard of bootlegs recorded from there...
