1. To start off I'd like to say I'm not interested in starting an argument about American politics. Let's keep that sort of discussion out of this thread.

    Now, if you visit:

    you'll see that Hillary Clinton is holding a vote for her campaign song. All of this seems right and proper until you notice that among the seven choices are not only one but two U2 songs: Beautiful Day and City of Blinding Lights.

    Is anyone else here bothered that these tremendous tunes are being attached to a political campaign? Even with their humanitarian and environmental work, U2's always seemed like a bipartisan group. I'd hate to see one of these two songs get voted in, and thus associated with the campaign like Mellencamp's "This Is Our Country" was during the last election.

    I support Left-Handed politicians, Bono also does it.
    Why not to support them with your songs? I think it's alright.
