    his favourite u2 single, or any single from any other band?
    anways i think i read somewhere that hes kind of fond of stay (faraway, so close). i also remember reading an article on u2.com entitled "the songs they wished they had written" where each band member named the song that they wished they had wrote. bono named 5 or 6 songs, one of which was live forever by oasis.
    the one song the edge chose was wonderwall.

  5. I don't know Edge's all time favorite song. I know he mentioned that he would include Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Year's Day as among their finest work. He was also very pleased with Gone. And he says he absolutely loves the guitar part from Until The End Of The World (my favorite U2 song ).

    Theres a video on Youtube somewhere where hes in a guitar shop being interviewed and hes asked what his all time favorite U2 riff is. He says during the Joshua Tree sessions they were lacking some "upbeat" songs, so he took his Strat and went to "an old 4-track machine and just laid down some basic chords." Then he began strumming Streets.

    That's true, cause in the same interview he said "The best U2-song isn't written yet..."


    And i think Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own is his favorite because of his father
