It wss first released in 1932 by Cole Porter.
And sung by various artists since, like Frank Sinatra and Ella Fiztgerald.
In 1990 an album called Red Hot + Blue was released as a compilation album for an AIDS Benefit, that is when U2 remade Night and Day for this album.
This is one of my top tunes, take a listen to Miss Ella singing it...
