  1. I'm getting an account at thewreckers.com and i want something witty but not obvious Any ideas?
  2. Depends on what matters most to you. Here are some U2 usernames I currently use throughout the web, for inspiration:

    ZOO TeleVation (ZOO TV plus elevation, but it's a play on words b/c "televation" sounds like "television")
    mexicofo (Bono's exclamation to start PopMart Mexico City during Mofo)
    BadStreets86 (my favorite transition between 2 songs plus my birth year; it also sounds like "Backstreets" one of my fave Springsteen songs)
    U2Met86 (I'm a U2 fan, a New York Mets fan, and also a Metallica fan - I used to be obsessed)

    I would have a brainstorming session, or several even. For a set period of time (3-5 minutes?) spill out your favorite songs, lyrics, word associations, whatever you can think of. Just spill it out without judging it. Eventually, you should come up with something (or a few things) that you're particularly proud of.

    Macphistfly is an awesome name, and if you want to be discreet, NOBODY on earth would guess it has anything to do with U2 unless they're a diehard.
  3. Something I really wish I'd done is create a username instead of my own name! I'd have probably gone with Acrobat, but I can't change it on here now

    Agree with U2met86, MacPhistfly is cool already and definitely not obvious.

    Two others I like that are out there already use lyrics:-

    The Spiral Staircase (from Promenade I believe)

    Scatter o' Light (from In a Little While)

    So that might be an idea, definitely wouldn't be obvious (unless you went for Vertigo, Doh!).

  5. Well, MacphistFly is already a great name, as said before no one can guess it's about U2 if he's not a fan.
