    As far as I know, it's not the MTV Jam recording, but a regular recording and the second Vertigo at the end is the same as the first..

    Yes, at least parts of it are definitely, BUT... it's not an entire audio-rip start to finish of the broadcast. Whoever converted this just took the concert parts and pieced them together to be as close to continuous / real time as possible. The kicker is the beginning of "City Of Blinding Lights." Bono is sitting inside the flatbed truck saying, "in your neighborhood..." which directly came from the longer MTV Jammed broadcast, the DirecTV one, before cutting back to the concert.

    There were 2 TV broadcasts (although they absolutely came from the same source tape):

    1. The abbreviated MTV Jammed cut on MTV, 30 minutes: I think it was just the 4 songs on iTunes b/c they were advertising that.

    2. The longer MTV Jammed cut on DirecTV Satellite music channel, 1 hour: 8 songs (the above 4 plus 4 more):

    She's A Mystery To Me
    Beautiful Day
    Out Of Control (out of order)*
    I Will Follow (out of order)*

    And both cuts had regular documentary parts in addition.

    The soundboard songs are from the hour show, EXCEPT only one of the Vertigo's was aired on TV (I forget which but I'm pretty sure it's the first). Perhaps one is from the broadcast and the other is an illegal iTunes rip? I dunno. Maybe the second is just a real good audience or an extra soundboard track?

    By the way, the two Vertigo's were different. They played it at the beginning and at the end (the second time, Bono says, "This one's for us!" and the intro is the riff from "Won't Get Fooled Again" by the Who)

    Miracle Drug and Original Of The Species are regular audience recordings.
  10. the second one was in the broadcast because thats the version I had. I downloaded the whole show from another source and it was all audience recording so i'll re-download here and keep the audioence tracks. Thanks
