1. Tiger Tim goes out at the second round in Wimbledon. (Yes, they have managed to play some tennis today!).

So, should he call it a day?
  2. Henman sucks, sorry if I blame anyone. I think he's way too overrated.

I think it's a sort of British dream to see Henman win Wimbledon so late in his career. But you have to be honest: most players at Wimbledon are much better nowadays compared to Henman. I think Federer will win it, it gets boring..

I agree, the British public are generally crap at moving on....

And yes, Federer will have to royally fuck up not to win again.

    Ladies is more open.....

Yeah, you're right. Williams sisters, Henin, the Russian ladies..it's never certain there.
  7. Yeah he's absolutely overrated, that he's the most beloved British player doesn't make him a good player world-wide.
  8. What is it with the Brits. I'll never understand them. They're so up their own arses. Anything with a brit in it gets completley hyped up (Henman at Wimbeldon) (England football team at any competition). Theyre all average but the brits hype them up soo much. Id hate to be Henman or to play for The England team. The brits put so much pressure and expectation on them.

And then shoot them down when they fail

And what is it with English people thinking that their teams represent Britain? England is just a part of Britain. As a Welshman in England I see it all the time...GRRR
  10. Yes henman should retire, he is not getting better he's getting worse and he's unseeded. Go TIM Go!!!!
  11. Yep Henman, just quit, you'll never win Wimbledon anyway...
Too bad the British first ADORE him when he's got a bit of succes and keep hoping for a lot while they know there are a lot better players than him
  12. Tim Henman is a decent guy. Its not his fault. The media put tremendous pressure on this guy each year to win Wimbledon, and give the british people the idea he is kind of superstar. The british media is a disgrace when it comes to matters like this. Every international sporting competition including The World Cup, The European Championships, The Cricket World Cup, The Rugby world Cup, the English media machine hypes up the team in question up so much so that the public believe that they can win whatever competition they enter. Then when the team loses the bastards alway find some poor sod and pin the blame on him, creating a scapegoat. In the soccer wold cup in france 98 it was Beckham, this year in the cricket world cup it was Andrew Flintoff. This hype that the media creates is why foreign people like seeing england fail in international sports. They like seeing them arrogant tossers getting knocked off their perch. Its a such a sad state of affairs really.
And they are already sharpening their knives for current england soocer manager Steve McClaren. Makes me sick.
