  1. Hi guys
    I was just curious how many album out takes that have been 'leaked' or do they get officially released? i mean like Mercy.. are they just B-sides or what? How do you get your hands on them because im always keen to hear any new/old u2 sounds

    Aso just wondering again are there outtakes from all albums such as ATYCLB and say Achtung Baby etc?

    Here you go Tui. I've got some POP ones coming later as well.

    Early stuff - this site has them in droves
    Boy - certain ones on this site and on Apple releases
    October - none that I'm aware of
    War - none I am aware of
    Unforgettable Fire - posted here somewhere
    Joshua Tree - uploaded what I have, as have others
    Rattle and Hum - no interesting ones, what there is will be on YouTube
    Achtung Baby - Salome outtakes, widely available
    Zooropa - check out the Salome 7 or 10CD set - is it 10 or 7 CDs?
    POP - Please rehearsals (3), Big Girls Are Best
    All That You Can't Leave Behind - Always
    How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb - all on Apple's Unreleased and Rare, available if you search the net
    Future stuff - beach recordings from Eze

    So that's it of demos.

  4. If you have DirectConnect set up (which you go and register at U2Hub.com) you can find literally hundreds of demos from almost every album.

    Now the others I have found include:

    Sunday Bloody Sunday (demo)
    The First Time (demo, first Zooropa one!)
    Discotheque (stolen demo)
    The Fly (accoustic)
    Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses (demo)
    Vertigo (demo of 90 seconds)

    Yeah I have seen it there before. A question for you LikeASong, how come there's never any download slots available? I am up to Satellite of Love on Adelaide '93 and been waiting all bleeding day. This is for a great soundboard as well.

    And I know all about damn hard drive crashes and backups. I installed Windows Vista RC1 (trial) thinking oh yeah this will work well. Wrong - I lost the bloody high-def copy of the Rove Live interview of U2 last year in Brisbane plus the backstage tour.
