  1. Hey all,

    My 21st birthday is coming up tomorrow, and one way to celebrate it with my friends from around the world (since school is NOT in session and my friends are all over the place), would be to take my Facebook.com profile and COMPLETELY pimp it out U2-style, I mean make it one giant obscure U2 reference.

    Now, the thing is, none of my school friends are into U2 the way I am, so...
    1) they won't get it, and
    2) they WILL judge me and think i'm absolutely weird and nuts for doing it.

    That being said, discovering U2start 4 months ago has made me realize that YOU guys care just as much as I do, if not even more! Today I'm not nearly as ashamed of this passion of mine as I was back then. So I think you will appreciate every little reference, and I wanted to share with you what I've come up with.

    And by the way, thanks a million times over to colbourne25 for permission to use his avatar, and thanks to everyone who commented on the other forum sharing their feedback about which profile shot / avatar to use. Just to let you know, I DID use the side-by-side shot in my Photo Album, but I used the long one for my profile shot because otherwise it would have been about 5 - 10 times smaller.

    So in short, I did it for U2start and I'm glad I did. Thanks everybody! You're the frickin' best!
