  4. Mannheim is a great soundboard indeed. Doesn't sound as good as Sarajevo for me. Thats the perfect soundboard for me

    Sarajevo is no soundboard. It's a broadcast, so the mix is different to a pure soundboard.

    Well I guess broadcasts must be my thing. Zooropa Dublin, Popmart Leeds etc all better that soundboards I reckon
  7. Yep, broadcasts are usually the best. The music is very clear, the instruments well balanced and you can still hear the audience.
    Matrixes of soundboards and excellent audience recordings are genius sometimes, too.

    spot on. Nothing worse than great sound quality and the crowd sounds like its miles away. Ruins way too many bootlegs for me. List me 15 of the greatest quality early shows (up to but not including War)
