  7. Here are the details featured on the sleeves... sorry for not posting them before!

1 - Glad to see you go
    Cork Opera House, October 1979
The cover by Ramones is in perfect punk style of the primordial U2 era. Bono sings a duet with Gavin Friday, his best friend at that time and also lead singer of the Virgin Prunes.

    2 - Silver Lining
3 - The speed of light
    4 - The magic carpet
    5 - Touch
6 - Another time, another place
    7 - Another day
    8 - Pete the Chop
    9 - Cartoon world
10 - Jack in the box
11 - Shadows and tall trees
    12 - The Electric Co.
All from Dublin, National Stadium, 26 February 1980
The performance at the National Stadium in Dublin was not an occasion to present to the public an emerging band, but it was a very special occasion. The U2 at that time were already well known to the Irish public since they had given concerts all over the country, and they also had an agreement with CBS (with this organization they had already realizzed two singles distributed in Ireland).
What they needeed was an agreement with a record producer able to distribute their production all over the world. For this reason Paul McGuinness, who was already their manager at that time, had invited some agents of record producing companies in order to try to establish a contract for a long time. McGuinness was perfectly aware that he was losing the believableness of the boys, and also knew very well that the year Edge's father had granted his son to become a cork star was going to end.
At the due date, the guitarist of the band would be obliged to return to school.
The manager furthermore was informed about the differences of opinion between Adam and his parents who did not like the idea to have a rockstar as a son. To carry on the dream called U2, a contract was urgently needed. That evening the band invited all the friends who attended the concert to join them on stage at the end of the concert and to sing all together "Boy-Girl".
After they had thanked the people for coming, they found McGuinness in the green room with an agent of the Island Record Company who was stipulating the much-longed contract. Tracks 3,4 and 9 are unpublished works; they nevere have been published officially. Silver Lining is the first version of 11 O' Clock Tick Tock with a completely different text. The Electric Co. is a different version, radio broadcasted some days after.

13 - Father is an elephant
Universty of Canterbury, 11 November 1980
Unpublished work, was never realized officially by a record company

    14 - I fall down
    Harpo's, Detroit, 18 April 1981
Second time live for the second piece registered on October. The music is completely differetn (note the guitar replaces completely the piano of the original version)

    15 - Carry me home
London Hammersmith Palais, 9 June 1981
The London show started with this song, which has never been proposed live again and also is not included in any official record publication.

    16 - Gloria
    17 - Rejoice
Dublin, Slane Castle, 16 August 1981
The U2 present fo the very first time live the song that will be a historical success as well as their favourite piece until the concerts held during the Lovetown Tour. bono creates a sensation when he presents this song saying: "This is a new song called Gloria, Gloria...". During this gig, U2 were supporting Thin Lizzy. As for Rejoice, the music and the lyrics are more similar to the original version comparing to Gloria.

    18 - I threw a brick through a window
    Coasters, Edinburgh, 13 August 1981
Live for the third time: this version is particularly rich of specials that make the song different and not longer than the one recorded on October. The first part of the lyrics is totally different from the original one, and the strange bass solo seems to divide the song in two parts. The long solo of the drums is completely new.

    19 - Boy-Girl
    20 - With a shout (Jerusalem)
Kid Jensen Sessions, 14 October 1981
The session has been broadcasted bi BBC. Boy-Girl is a different version of the song that was on the very first single of the band as a b-side. A studio version is featured on U2-Three (12'', 1000 numbered copies and in the same 7'', September 1979) as well as in a live version is featured as a b-side on the I will follow single (7'', October 1980).
