  1. Hi there, just heard Bono will appear / will be mentioned, in the new film of The Simpsons

    There's probably no one left on planet earth that doesn't know that The Simpsons Movie is opening this Friday, July 27. What folks may not know is that our favorite frontman is referenced in a sub-plot involving Lisa Simpson and an Irish activist she becomes interested in.

    No word yet on whether or not Bono is pleased by this shout-out, but since imitation is the highest form of flattery, and U2 did appear on an episode of The Simpsons during its ninth season, I'm bargaining he's okay with it.

    and the things here are ok too...except by tje caos in our airports because many things...but things will back to normal soon....and the weather is terrible here...but I'm happy and that's the most important thing!!

    Yes, the saintly rock-star/activist Bono. During an unsuccessful environmental activist campaign (with guest-rockers Green Day, no less) Lisa meets a cute boy from Ireland who insists he isn't related to the U2 star. Romance may (or may not) be in the cards for the little girl in pearls.
