  1. I'm running 6mb broadband on my computer. I've just got myself a download manager and can see that i'm only getting download speeds of 60kb/s. Is thgis normal speed for my internet connection and is there anything I can do to boost my download speeds?
  2. You should divide your maximum speed by 8, that's the speed you can get in theory.

    6 MB download means 768 kb/sec max. So it's way too low, it starts getting normal at 500 kb/sec. I think you should contact your ISP, or test it at another PC.

    Can't you try it on another PC? Maybe there's a virus or firewall problem.
