1. Bruce Springsteen has again teamed up with The E Street Band and is releasing a new album around the end of September. The album is titled "Magic" and the first single is "Radio Nowhere" which is free to download on itunes if you pre-order the album there. I already have Radio Nowhere and i think its brilliant. I cant wait for this album to be released and was wondering if any of you guys are going to buy it too [well i know ponchovilla definately will].

I will, love Radio Nowhere, like to see him in Antwerp later this year
  3. I'll definitely be buying it. I heard the first single from it "Radio Nowhere" and I love it.

Like iTunes some major Australian newspapers (Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun and The Advertiser) did a deal with Sony to let readers download the very first single from the album - and judging from that I will be buying it.

If anyone uses Windows Media Player 10 or later, check this out. A cool visualization which literally throws your album art around.

Yeah, i was planning to see him in Belfast but i reckon i will wait for the second leg of the tour in the summer and catch a stadium show. That is if there is going to be a second leg . . . fingers crossed.
  5. Yup, I'll be buying.

Gotta love The Boss. Tried to get tickets to the O2 Arena (ie Millenium Dome) but sold out virtually instantaneously, so like Robbie I'll try again next year.
  6. I'm not a great fan of The Boss, but I still follow him mainly because his political activity (I agree basically with all his ideas, Progresism, Anti-Bush) and I like a few songs. And of course I have Radio Nowhere, I got it free (without pre.ordering any album!) in the page of some TV channel of Spain. It's a very good song, I like it.
  7. I'm just about to discover Bruce's music... I was astonished after his collaboration with U2 ( as I have with some other artists as well, Like Pearl Jam and Lou Reed), and I saw some footage of his concert in Dublin. My mum has that DVD, and I'll watch it soon
So maybe I''ll get that album later on, hope I won't be dissapointed. Thanks for the newsflash
  8. Album is ordered, tickets for his Cologne gig bought.

I wish you the best. I've heard that his shows are astonishing.

Anecdote: a spanish guy followed him in many concerts all around the world in his last tour, sometimes managing even to get in te first row. After many nights, Bruce realized he was the same guy nite after nite. And then, in some US city, he allowed him to go up the stage, he asked his name, where did he live, etc.and since then, the spanish guy has a Backstage pass in all the concerts, and a free ticket to all The Boss' tours. Bruce is a nice guy.

ahhhh. you got tickets you lucky sod!
  12. So. Did we all buy it then?

I did and I think it's an instant classic. Sure, they've recycled the odd riff here and there, but who doesn't (Stories for Boys => Vertigo??!)

Think Long Walk Home's the best personally.
