    If my favourite band can be an Irish band then I am allowed to support my country of birth too - but you are right, when it comes down to it if Liverpool were playing England then I would support Liverpool 100% of the time.

    Mind, if Liverpool FC were playing England rugby union then it'd be a tough game...

    We looked very tired and they were always going to be the stronger (in actual strength and not skill) team.

    We gave too many penalties away and looked disjointed bar for a brief spell in the second half.

    Runners up though - still better than 4th.
