  1. For about two years ago I downloaded a demo version of One, it was a couple of minutes long and started with a sound(wich is a backgroundsound on the on the album version of the song), it was very close to the album version. I lost it, Anyone here got it?

    It's not in the Salome set. Neither in other records from the Hansa Ton sessions I've heard so far. I thought there were no demos for One, hope to find that one!

  8. As far as I know the only recordings around that are prior to, and different than the studio version are:

    - The bit that was in the "From the Sky Down" that actually lets you hear the inception of the song. That came from jamming for a break in Sick Puppy which later became Mysterious Ways

    - A second bit from that movie when they are back in Ireland (early '91) after Berlin and you can hear Lanois adding the "bending" guitar part

    - The Kindergarten version. That surprises/boggles me a bit because vocal is identical to the released version, but music isn't

    - A portion of One can be heard on a Promo that was on YT. That has the finished music, but vocal take is different.

    Nothing else as far as I know of... Out of these I'd be most curious to hear the Feb '91 version in Full

    Nope isnt that on either, the version I talk about was from the beginning and I f i remember it was the whole song.
    I had it on a hdd that got broken
