  4. This was the first version of the clip, but had to be re-edited (and shot particularly) due to the 2 milliseconds nudity in the video. Many U2 info sources credit this clip to Meiert Avis, but he only directed the color shots that were made in Dublin. It was Matt Mahurin, who sat in the director's chair for the first version. His trademark style (black and white, creepy light effects, etc.) appears throughout the video.

    Thanks for the kind words, but I'm no encyclopaedia by any means, just probably the biggest fan of Matt Mahurin alive, and spent awfully lot of time to research his works. It's a shame that he did only 2 videos for U2 (this and Love Is Blindness).
