  1. He is still under 50. He is an interesting guy. The determination of that band is incredible. The BSSM lineup is the definitive line up.
  2. It's been 3.5 years since The Getaway.
  3. I really liked I'm With You. The Getaway was okay, but I was underwhelmed by it somewhat. I was OBSESSED with the Chili Peppers during the Californication-BTW-Stadium Arcadium era. Klinghoffer had some massive shoes to fill, and I didn't envy him, but he did a good job. He eventually gained some chops live. I only the RHCP once, back in 2006 with JF, and they were great. I never felt motivated to see them in the Klinghoffer years, even though they came to my city (Columbus) a few times in that era.

    Let's see what happens!
  4. Saw the news on Chad Smith's Instagram. This is very unexpected and quite welcome in my books. Stadium Arcadium is the last thing they did I care for.

    I appreciate each of their eras. 89/91 is tops for me. I also like Out in LA, Snow, and Brendan's Death Song. The latter probably being my most favourite Chilli song ever. Hump de Bump is 2.
