1. I'm sorry to hear about your Van Halen spell

other than U2 I find myself listening intently to Leonard Cohen and Rufus Wainwright
  2. I've had my fair share of band spells. However, to me, if I add most of the artist's music, its a revolution. I started listening to the Who. Then I discovered the Rolling Stones with the Rock and Roll Circus. I started a music project last summer where i would sigmificantly add to my music collection. Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin are two more. Then I found U2 august of last year.

That's only the crust. As for the music project, I have seasonal playlists that sample artists and their songs. I went from 90 artists to 120, including the beatles and u2. Currently I'm on the spring 2008 sampler.
  3. Eddie Van Halen has died, for feck sake.

Right, may as well watch this spellbinding performance.
  4. Just read it. ffs far too early. rest in peace, man.
  5. Sucks tremendously. RIP. You will be sorely missed.

  6. Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth in a McDonald's, 1978.
  7. Roth has to be one of the greatest top three front men of all time.
  8. I wasn't a huge fan but here are my top 3 tracks:

    Panama
    You Really Got Me
    Why Can't this Be Love
  9. Rest in peace you guitar hero Say hi to the other six string geniuses up there, Hendrix, Ray Vaughan, BB King and all the others. Have a great time. Turn it up LOUD in there! \m/

  10. Fair Warning is one of the greatest albums I've ever heard.
