  6. Just got back from seeing the mighty Toto at Hammersmith Apollo - suffice to say, they were incredible. Very nearly the perfect setlist for my first time seeing them. If you get the chance to see them, take it with both hands.
  7. Bruce Springsteen
    Rod Stewart
    The Waterboys
Going to see U2 in November
    I'm 18 so don't criticise
  8. I'm 40, so please feel free to criticise:

    1. Sting (1991)
    2. Roger Waters (2002)
    3. Secret Machines -opening act- (2006)
    4. U2 (2006)
    5. Franz Ferdinand (2010)
    6. James (2010)
    7. Temper Trap -opening act- (2010)
    8. Pixies (2010)

James and Franz Ferdinand were the 2 I enjoyed the most.
U2 was overall a frustrating experience (crowd and location) that I hope to have a chance to turn around in the next couple of years.
  9. ...and just out of the blue, yesterday someone gave me a handful of tickets to go watch Deep Purple tonight, so I'm taking the whole family to watch them.

(though I really hope they play their warhorses no matter how tired of playing them they are, otherwise I'll be totally lost in there )
