1. Make that 2 votes for The Decemberists....
  2. Big act: REM (Friends to the band, not really busy at the moment, popular among U2-fans), Radiohead (pretty much the same reasons as REM, except for the friend-part)
Upcoming: For the australians who had to hear Kanye: Pendulum, for Europe: Dutch band Voicst. Maybe Snow Patrol again.
And other: Snoop Doggy Dog feat. The Pussy Cat Dolls

    EDIT: Editors as Jake said
  3. I would like to see Grizzly Bear on the tour. I saw them open for Radiohead this summer, and I liked them. Another good pick would be The Good the Bad and the Queen.
  4. Does any think theres a chance Duke Special could play support on any Irish dates? They picked and Irish guy as support on the Irish vertigo shows and the Duke has been going really well over here in the last 18 months.
  5. I've heard that Banarama are set to open for U2 on the opening night of the UK leg. I believe the opening night is going to be in Shrewsbury.

  6. opening/ Panic at the disco
big act/ Queen + Paul Rodgers
    Headlining/ U2
  7. the R.E.M. idea is great too
  8. I'd bet money that Fleet Foxes will support part of the tour this year.
  9. Editors? another vote for Vampire Weekend
  10. BLOC PARTY?

    Perfect accompaniment, along with editors.
