1. Agreed! Though he has some great moments in SOI and SOE. For example his work in Sleep Like a Baby Tonight and the little solo in Lights of Home are fantastic IMO
  2. And I almost forgot The Little Things

Yeah all nice moments but it's just that, brief sparks. NLOTH is his last great work as a whole.
  4. This song is just too good
  5. Agreed. NLOTH was a great balance of experimental guitar sounds (ending to NLOTH, intro to Magnificent) in your face riffs (NLOTH, SUC, GOYB), chimey U2 guitars (IGCIIDGCT, Magnificent, UC) and great solos (MOS, UC, Magnificent, Cedars)
  6. edge is really missing in SOE
  7. only for lights of home and little things we hear some quality Edge
    Larry only appears in blackout

I would add the chimey Winter and solo from Breathe as well. Experimental in FEZ.
NLOTH is a great guitar record!
  9. Loved this song back then, yeah lyrics are a bit questionable but who cares ,just enjoy it! Also love SUC they should've done it on 360.
  10. Edge plays to dutily add value to songs on SOE but not drive them as on NLOTH. The only standout is of course TLTTGA. He has some good melodies in Landlady, Summer of Love, and LIBTAIIW and riffs on Red Flag Day and Lights of Home.
