  1. does anyone know what is going on with U2's next DVD???

    are they planning to release another Vertigo DVD or are they doing the 3D movie???
  2. They're working on a Popmart DVD and on the 3D Vertigo tour IMAX movie from South America. It's unknown which one will see the daylight first.

    They filmed both the Melbourne, Australia concerts. . . . I thought that was going to be the IMAX release . . .. .. .. I live in hope!

    Melbourne - supposedly for IMAX
    Dublin, Ireland - but only for archives???

    Never heard about the Popmart one though.


    Also there was talk of their first 6 albums being remastered with bonus B-sides - maybe a DVD of these all together?
  6. Melbourne 1 was definitely filmed but I only saw one, perhaps two cameras the next night focusing on Larry and Bono. I heard that they were getting body shots of the guys for the IMAX movie but avoiding their heads as they'd both had haircuts since the South American gigs.

    As for the first night, I'd say chances are it was for the IMAX release too but boy, how I would LOVE to see a live U2 DVD made in my hometown! Unfortunately, I don't think that will happen anytime soon but I'd love nothing more than to be proved wrong!

    Which ever comes out, I just know it'll be great...BRING IT ON!
