1. Does anyone have any info on what happened during the Zoo Tv tour when Bono threw his mic at Larry? I heard something about it years ago,was Bono messing around or was he truly upset and angry?
  2. if i well remember, it was this one:

    1992-11-03 - Vancouver, British Columbia - B.C. Place St

    http://www.u2start.com/shows/1003/#reviews

Bono gets angry at Larry when he can't start Pride right, and Bono has to keep counting off 1-2-3. Then he throws his microphone at him. After the song, they all go offstage for a team meeting, skipping ISHFWILF.

it was detailed in pimm jal de la parra book...
  3. Shit happens. Band isn't always together/on. I'm clearly not as big or as well-seasoned as U2, but I've been in the same situation with my band during shows. Just can't seem to get on the same page, and nobody wants to admit it's all their fault.
  4. It happens in sport where team mates get angry with each other for mistakes etc. It happens in sales teams and offices, and it happens with the best band in the world when they make themselves look like amateurs!
  5. Makes me happy I switched from performing to stage support.
  6. Maybe Bono is resentful, and 31 years later he wants to revenge, playing in Vegas Sphere without Larry
  7. I wouldn't read too much into it. The unit is high octane, it happens.
  8. They obviously got over it. Bono’s smashed his guitar. Edge threw his guitar down and kicked it towards Dallas. don’t forget they have rockstar attitudes
  9. Ha ha that's hilarious 😂 I'm sure it gets ten times worse in the studio and rehearsals away from an audience, like most work situations it's never going to be harmonious all the time.
  10. I wish we could see a chart of how many times Bono has made a mistake during a performances vs Edge, Larry and Adam. I’m sure Bono makes some sort of mistake at nearly every gig, whereas for Larry it’s pretty rare. Drop a stick here, miss a count there. Shit happens, doubt the audience really cares.
  11. He could get a bit heated during those days when things went wrong. Still love this Washington '92 New Year's Day where sort of everybody tries to remember how the song went in real time, and he derails it a little bit more (on purpose). There's not a lot going right in this one

Lol at Bono’s reaction to Edge playing a wrong note. Bono can’t even properly play guitar or piano, let alone at the same time!
