1. This is the most interesting, thrilling, major innovation on Internet.Believe it or not,Google is striking back. After Facebook realeased the Video Calling feature,I thought It's all over, game was won by facebook.(Google and Facebook are in a hurry to be the biggest of Internet.)

And I read somewhere that IBM's going to release a new technological search engine, which will be something different.

(Only rumour) Ibm's engine is going to work by anwering the questions you ask.

    (e.g)
What's the name of Ukraine's capital city ?
    Kiev.

After all this, people really sat and thought that what's gonna happen to Google if these two sites make what they say.

You know about Yahoo, altavista, and many search engines like those are now history.(Yahoo is not, because of the messenger service.)

But now, Google strikes back :

I am not talking about the features, you can see in this video.Since I don't have an invitation yet,I cannot experience it.

It took 7 years(this is another rumour) for Google to that.So they had the idea before Facebook.

And this is only the begining,Google feels so lucky, yes they do !

    plus.google.com

P.s:This needed a new topic.Because this is not about Hardware,I didn't post it in technology topic.
  2. I want this really badly. I downloaded it in the Android market and thought it was cool. But then noticed that you need an invitation
  3. If I could get one,I am going to send one to you then !
  4. I've been playing with it since last week. I'm not thrilled with it. It looks like the bastard lovechild of livejournal and gmail. I've been using livejournal since the 90s (if you've seen The Social Network, LJ is the journal platform Zuckerberg was using at the beginning of the movie) so I'm not sure this is the technological innovation they're claiming it is. It's better than Facebook, if that's what you're looking for, and your mum is probably not on it (unless your mum is me), and the privacy settings are more transparent. But I am hearing rumbles about it doing things you haven't asked it to do, and that it could end up being the next Google Buzz-style privacy clusterfuck. I guess we'll just have to wait and see on that one.

(Btw, shouldn't this be in the technology topic?)
  5. No,this is not about hardware.

You are missing the point.Everyone who use internet uses google and this is going to be everyones thing, and I do not trust facebook anyway,I want google to dominate these social utilities on web
  6. If anyone needs an invite send me a PM
  7. Thanks, but no thanks.

Google knows what I'm buying, what I'm educated, what sort ofmusic I like, which porn I watch. Did you ever pay to use a Google service? How do they get the money?

I don't think it's a good thing giving Google any more personal information than necessary.

  8. Yeah whatever. I don't need my life further enhanced by the internet, I'm fine the way it is. I use Google to look for shit. Not to teach it more about who I am.
  9. I signed up. It looks kind of cool but I haven't delved into it yet. Maybe it will grow on me but right now I don't see much good in it

LOL. Why do I get the feeling you read like 10% of my reply and understood about 5%?
  11. Because I may agree with you about the rest of it
