1. What do you think about establishing a song limit for a set? My proposal is 25 songs, so that the setlist doesn't grow to an enormous size and maintains a more realistic form.
  2. I usually try for 28, any shorter and the set order me and John have developed would be cut short. Maybe aim for 28, but it's ok if it's occasionally 30ish
  3. February 1988 - U2 embark on a New Tour, but this time it's not the Joshua Tree, it is the album called One Tree Hill. The Tour will basically be leftovers from the Joshua Tree Tour, The band have also spent time making their next LP. And rumours are that there will be songs to be played in this tour. And then afterwards, they will spend time promoting not only the album but the movie itself. U2 have toured with a camera in the 3rd Leg of the Joshua Tree Tour, they toured on Camera with Phil Joanou directing it, The Movie & LP are both titled Rattle & Hum. In their trips to the concerts on the 3rd leg before the Joshua Tree Tour, the band spent time going to Tennessee writing songs for Sun Studios and also they've spent time in Los Angeles as well to write more songs and even in their home, The band have the songs completely nailed says a representative from U2. Bono has stated in the new tour, that the new songs from Rattle & Hum will be played, There is also a possibiilty that there will be 2 potential singles from the LP in Late 1988 and after that, band is likely to settle down and maybe do the tour in Late 1989. Not only have they spent time in rehearsal room rehearsing the new songs, they've also been rehearsing well for the New Tour, the 2 legs will be held in Europe and in the Rest of the World! The Tour will run from April to October of 1988. But it won't be held in the United States at all, when asked about why the band called it "The One Tree Hill Tour"?. Bono said "it's because One Tree Hill, we dedicated it to Greg Carroll, and when Greg Carroll died, I was thinking of doing something else right after the Joshua Tree. So I talked to his family and asked if we can do another tour, but this time instead of the Joshua Tree. The Tour is going to be titled "One Tree Hill". Carroll's Family approved. April 2, 1988 will be the start date for the One Tree Hill Tour similar to the Joshua Tree Tour one year later, Also in addition to the band, the shows will also be played in Festivals, Pinkpop in May, Rock Am Ring & Glastonbury Festival in June & Donington in August, and they will be headlining all of them. Guitarist The Edge says "It's going to be nice to be playing these festivals, I think the fans will be happy to see us be playing festivals". Cause in the Joshua Tree Tour, we never played festivals, This will be U2's first Festivals since 1985. But let's look at the dates right now.

This will be a major tour except the band will not be traveling to the United States, but for the first time in history. The Band will tour Argentina, but not Chile & Brazil, the band says they are likely to play Chile & Brazil soon enough, Expect a lot of fun in this tour, The band are possibly likely to bring back some rarities that have not been played in the Unforgettable Fire & The Joshua Tree Tour and also some songs that have never been played as well, Also, the band is possibly going to do an acoustic set at some point in the set, they've been working on it in rehearsals for the tour as well. No matter what, expect an awesome tour and probably a lot of fun from U2 in the next 6 months.
  4. Dude can I please be the leader of this tour, I've been planning this out for like 2 years and wanna do it my way
