1. RSD usualy before 6AM in line for 9AM opening. Black Friday no need to be earlier than opening time of the record store. Even lunchbreak is often early enough.
  2. i did Brum last one (swordfish) got there at 7am got the last Atomic City vinyl , think they had 5 . There was probably 50 ahead of me in the queue .
  3. What are the numbers for this release? Tens of thousands?
  4. I think it is going to be easy to get this one.
  5. this won't sell out quickly
  6. I've queued up a few times for RSD. Nothing ridiculous. Maybe joined the queue at 9am? Everytime I think what a waste as I can buy it online the next day from the same store or others across the country but I still do it. It probably helps I only buy U2. I imagine others, such as Taylor Swift, would require you to join the queue early.
  7. Yeah, I don't expect it will. Just wondering about other's past experiences. Had a couple of people ask some questions about what time to get to line, and honestly have no idea what to say. My 3am? Was the Songs of Innocence vinyl, so I picked a good one to do it for. One copy in the store. And the guy behind me in line? Sitting and scrolling through the U2Songs twitter feed looking for information on the record.

The point of RSD is for customers of music to interact together. I have met great local fans in line during RSD.
  9. The same for me. My record store offers a breakfast since 2018. It's great to see the same people once a year, every year!
  10. £34.99 in one of the stores near me.
  11. Agree . I got to the last one about 7am , it was freezing . Girl in front was a Swifty , she sadly missed out , i got the last Atomic City 10" in the shop , felt bad for her , it is a buzz getting it on the day .
