Does anyone know why the 1989 Lovetown never made it to the UK? Originally planned for Australia etc some European countries had concerts but not the UK.
Because the Lovetown tour was actually planned to cover countries the Johua Tree Tour didn't touch ground in, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The few european dates sprung in the last month, when they were thinking grand finale in Dublin, so they took the ocassion to fulfill some demand, but it was never a european gig. the 4 january 1990 dates were played because original dates in the Netherlands got cancelled due to Bono´s throat illness.
