    I seem to be in the minority here but i thought Bono sounded great last night. I loved how he sang it.

    I agree, he really put a lot of emotion in it. Singing is not just about technical brilliance (which he showed too), but also about transmitting emotions through your voice to your listener.

    He did both.

    Really, come on. The Edge plays some nice guitar at the beginning (of live version, studio version = 0 points) and then for the rest of the song does almost NOTHING. There's just that generic beat. And lyrics? I'm sure Bono is able to write that in 5 minutes, literally.

    the song is nothing special .. what makes the difference is ... Bono
  9. I don't like the new song to mainstream. Then again I know why they've done what they've done. The past songs were criticised for being to U2 and not enough broadway.

  11. Really nice little tune IMHO...since last night's performance, i've been singing the song in my head all day, so......it's quite ok to me, love B'man's vocals.....
  12. Wow.. after a few flops of No line on the horizon they are throwing some really great music pieces back in.
    I am really looking forward to what they still have to release, it must be great.
    Rise Above sounds amazing.. especially love the high notes of Bono.
    Good combo with Reeve Carney!
