    Well it will be interesting to see what we get on September 8th. Even though selfishly I'll be happy as long as I like the song there's a big part of me that wants the majority of u2 fans to like it and get behind it but time will tell.

    All that says is we've got a different of view of Get On Your Boots with neither more or less significant or valid than the others, but it's cool that we can all like the same band but have such different takes on there work.

    That's what it's all about. Although I still can't understand how one could like this song and not like Boots.

    But, as Cy Curnin said at the Fixx show last night, "do you remember when we could just agree to disagree?"

    I guess I would just hope that the single features a little more U2 and a little less Kygo.

    I like the lyrics better in the best thing and the chord progression. Im not sayin they're u2's most imaginative or best lyrics but I can enjoy singing along 'Your the best thing about me' but don't enjoy singing 'get on your boots, sexy boots'. Again though it's just personal preference, it certainly doesn't make me right and if someone turned round and told me Boots is there favourite song who am I to argue.

  11. I'm not referring to people having opinions, I'm referring to the same opinion being regurgitated OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

    We know U2's version is coming, we know it's not the one we've heard, yet this thread keeps coming up with people saying "man I hate this Kygo mix". It'd be like me going into an old Every Breaking Wave thread from the 360 tour saying "man I hate this version".
