    That is crazy to read in such a short summary... but absolutely right. Often we don't even open the albums, just keep them sealed and download a digital copy.

    But i have to admit that the remastered versions don't really sound that good ( cd )
    Vinyl....i don't speak
    Collecting?.yes.i wouldn't buy anything else remastered
    Nowadays they are remastering anything....from P.I.L. to....Suicide or else

    Yes. I only buy remastered vinyl if I have to.

  8. Why, OH WHY the songs included in the deluxe albums are usually better than some on the regular album itself?

    The Ground Beneath Her Feet, better than half of ATYCLB
    Fast Cars, better than at least 4 songs from HTDAAB
    Winter, better than at least 3 songs from NLOTH
    The Crystal Ballroom, better than most of SOI
    Book Of Your Heart, better than at least 4 songs on SOE


    It's a mystery to me. It actually bugs me big time Why not make the best possible album for a start? Why relegate those songs to "bonus tracks" status and prevent most of your audience -besides a reduced hardcore fanbase- to ever hear them?

    I agree on the first two; not sure about Winter, and even CB. BOYH should have been SOE's closer. Not that bland recycled muffled patchwork of a 13 song. (There, I've said it!)
  10. They seem to be better because you usually play them less.so you don't get used to it as an album ( that you night play everyday.like the new one ).and each time you play them they sound ....newer and fresher....

    I appreciate what you're saying,

    but no.

    WOWY is an INCREDIBLE song and I can't stand listening to it anymore because it's overplayed to death both by the band and by the radio.

    So no, I can definitely tell when a song is better than another, isolating that from the fact that I enjoy more listening to songs that haven't been burned out by overplaying (from my side or the band's side).
