Berlin 2.5 I had a 70 euro seat. Wasn't directly behind the stage but was close enough, could still see everything with no restricted view. Great deal.

IF U2 had decided to NOT play ANYthing from the 80's (rather than just from Joshua Tree), it would only have been 4 song changes. So I got thinking what other songs would have fit the bill for those 4 spots (in terms of thematically, spot in the show, type of song they were going for). So it's what would FIT in the setlist spot.. not ness my dream picks, if that makes sense.
IWF -----> Until the End of the World (up-tempo, fans instantly recognize guitar riff)
Gloria-----> Mysterious Ways (another fan fav, up-beat)
Pride -----> Walk On (crowd sing-along, feel good)
NYD -------> Please (political, could still keep the US or Euro flag backdrop)
Seems like they could have quite easily pulled off an effective post-80's show if that's what they had wanted
Any other suggestions of exclusively post-80's that would fit in well?

At that point I think having Red Flag Day on constant rotation with ABOY would have been a more fitting choice.

yeah, i did consider those 2 actually. But ultimately thought that after BlackOut and Lights (2 new songs that average joe likely wouldnt know) that they really wanted a crowd reaction to a known classic (ala I Will Follow). And I just figured the two-some Until and Mysterious Ways would provide that better than RFD or ABOY - which I assume joe average wouldnt know either
