U2 - 2023 09 29 @ The Sphere, Las Vegas NV

Note:
Some thoughts. The Sphere is impressive even for Las Vegas standards. It will be an iconic part of the Las Vegas Strip. The interior was really amazing, and they had a lot of food & drink stands, bathrooms & merch stands - so waiting was never an issue. The staff was super nice and helpful. The seats are at a steep pitch, so the people in front of you don't block your view, and the 360 nature of the visuals means that people have a good view. Sound was really good as well. Performance wise, there were a few glitches & broken guitar strings, Bono at points seemed a little stressed out and distracted - but at other points was spot on. Opening night jitters I suppose. Of course, performing without Larry probably was a bit strange for the band too. There were a couple of points where the set didn't exactly flow right, but they will probably sort that out. I suspect that this was the first night, everyone had a bit of nerves and that they will tighten up the few loose parts of the show. Summary - amazing venue and probably only U2 could have been the band to pull off the opening night. I think the shows will only get stronger and better.

Actuación

My first opening night tour, and my 12th u2 concert.
Very happy for the classic shape of play Even Better than the real thing like popmart tour in the 90's (with Bono's falsete included in take me higheeeeer)
Very satisfied with the first live performance full band of so cruel and pleasantly surprised with atomic city.
The Bono's voice sounds very good for me, and the band are in good shape.
Sadly I dont like the new drummer and your way of play the songs. (I think that he should play exactly like Larry's arrangements and not with your mode)
I am not convinced of the setlist not even in the order they were placed.
Beatiful day can never be the final song.

Nobody sing or jump.
Nothing emotional acts.

With a some mistakes and technical issues, the concert is a very good type.
