Uwagi do wykonania: This concert features the first performance of A Sort Of Homecoming since 27 June 1987 and it is somewhat shambolic, with Bono struggling to remember the lyrics. This show is the first time U2 has played Slane since opening for Thin Lizzy in 1981; in honour of Thin Lizzy, U2 play a brief cover of Dancing In The Moonlight.

Występ

An excellent hometown performance from the entire band, and despite the show occurring a mere four days after the tragic passing of Bono's father, the band manage to pull off a tremendous performance here in Slane despite these negative events with Bono's father even being mentioned throughout the show adding emotional and heartfelt moments when appropriate to the show, the band also change things up with a unique addition into the set being, the inclusion of A Sort Of Homecoming into the setlist of a show since the first Dublin 1987 show on the Joshua Tree tour.

One of the best Elevation tour shows I have heard so far along with performances such as South Bend and 1st Chicago, even when the sound isn't the best the energy and the overall result is a very enjoyable performance on the tour, the setlist changeups are also fantastic tonight and despite Bono having trouble with the lyrics on A Sort Of Homecoming it is nice to hear the first of two performances of the song during this tour, the audience is also fantastic tonight so, with all these factors combined you don't want to miss this show due to it being a fantastic home one for the show with there being no real low moments throughout.
