I don’t think the band are really obligated though, morally or otherwise, to tour every album they release. I’m sure they’ll want to keep there team happy but if they released an album sooner than they were ready to tour I don’t think there would be an issue with that. The crew will likely have other work lined up until the band are ready to tour again, usually there is a 3 or 4 year gap between tours anyway so I don’t think anyone working with the band would expect to be on tour until then.
