Performance notes: Love Is Blindness is played - evidently spontaneously - for the first time since 10 December 1993. Bono sings most of the lyrics but the band cut the song short before Edge's solo. They have not attempted the song at any subsequent shows. This show also features the final performance of Fast Cars. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

Can we ask you to write a short review after you have listened?.
After almost 15 years we assumed that no proper recording of this show was going to surface, so we decided to rip the audio from the famous YouTube video of this song ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nbza6FdOjM ) and upload it as an audio recording to our site. It's unclear/unknown who recorded this but credits go to Zoo Station Radio Argentina for uploading it back in May 2006. This is the only known performance of Love Is Blindness after the Zoo TV Tour ended in December 1993 so it holds a special historic value within U2's live history. We hope you enjoy it!

"I thought 'pop' was a term of abuse, it seemed sort of insulting and lightweight. I didn't realise how cool it was. Because some of the best music does have a lightweight quality, it has a kind of oxygen in it, which is not to say it's emotionally shallow. We've had to get the brightly coloured wrapping paper right, because what's underneath is not so sweet."
- Bono describing the difference between the "surface" of the songs to "what lies beneath".

In U2's very early days, a guy called Eugene who played drums in a north Dublin rock outfit called Stryder occasionally filled in for Larry on the gigs he couldn't make.
