2011-07-02 - Nashville, Tennessee - Vanderbilt Stadium

setlist

Performance notes: This is just the second U2 concert ever in Nashville, 29 years and 7 months after the first. It is also the first U2 concert anywhere in the state of Tennessee since 14 May 1997, Memphis. The snippet of The Wanderer is quite lengthy, running to two verses. At the end of the show, Bono pulls a member of the crowd on stage to play guitar; he performs All I Want Is You with the band, dedicating it to his wife. Performance

A great performance from the final month of the 360 tour featuring the band in solid form and delivering a show with good renditions of songs throughout, all with few mistakes as expected from the 360 tour, which is also backed up by a couple of special surprises in between as well. Bono's voice is also in your standard 360 tour shape, which is a positive and for a show at the start of the final month of the tour, he sounds very strong throughout.

Sound

Very good sound. I don't have any complaints about this at all.
Recording: Audience microphone - 4.5 stars

Audience

Standard North American audience.

Overall

Overall, it was a great show from the seventh leg of the 360 tour, featuring a fine performance from the band with little mistakes, which is backed up by a couple of surprises in the set, with these being the appearance of The Wanderer right after I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For which adds a total of 3 Zooropa songs in the setlist and All I Want Is You which ends the show instead of the usual Moment Of Surrender closer this performance also features a guest guitarist who joins the band for the song. A great listening experience and a good start for the final month of the tour and a show that should definitely be checked out for 2011.

Highlights:
The Fly
Until The End Of The World
I Will Follow
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For / The Wanderer
Stay (Faraway, So Close!)
Zooropa
City Of Blinding Lights
I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
All I Want Is You
