Comments: First performance of The Electric Co. since 12 February 2006. Bad was not on the printed setlist; The Troubles was, after With Or Without You, but it was not performed. One was dedicated to Dave Goldberg, at whose funeral Bono recently sang. This show features the 300th live performance of Even Better Than The Real Thing. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

For the 2nd night I had seats on the side which I normally dislike but with the
U2 sound system it was an improvement. After 3 1/2 hours of sleep and a long day
at a work conference I was tired. Arena was 41 miles away and was supposed to
meet a fellow taper who had my ticket between 7 and 7:30. Goal was to arrive early
enough to eat and get set up by 6:30. Traffic was hell and finally resorted to
side streets through San Jose. After 2 hours in the car dinner was obviously not
going to happen so stopped for french fries and the use of the bathroom. I got to
arena at 7 and got a text my friend was stuck in traffic. He arrived at 7:30 and
rushed in to set up. Show started and both sound was improved and band was hotter.
After Beautiful Day Bono changed things up and they went into a great version of Bad.
Had to be the highlight of the show. During the encore Bono pulled a kid up on stage
which was cool. All in all a nice recording of a fun U2 show.

"My job in the band is to play drums, to get up on stage and hold the band together. That's what I do. At the end of the day that's all that's important. Everything else is irrelevant."
