Great performance of the band. The set list was exactly the same as many previous concerts, with minor surprises. Bono talked a lot with the audience, and told us how hard the band tried and wanted to comeback to Brazil. They definitely have a special relationship with Brazilians. The band is on shape and showed this all over the concert. Great opening night in São Paulo.

I think that for these concerts the audience was kind of mixed one. We could find die hard fans of the band, and simply music fans. My feeeling is that the band expected the audience to sing along, like the 1998, 2006 and 2011 concerts, but I could not feel and hear teh whole stadium singing (like the other concerts in Brazil, wich I attended). Even thought, the audience was still awesome (I was in front of the stage).
It was a great day, because I arrived at the stadium 2 hours before the opening gates, and I got a great place, almost in front of Larry's drum kit. The only thing that made me feel sad is that the official merchandising stores weren't selling the Tour Book this time. I have the PopMart, Vertigo and 360° Tour Books from the Brazilian concerts, but unfortunately, for this one I could only buy a T-shirt.

"Crumbs from Your Table" is about the relationship between Western countries and developing countries. The verses and chorus address the relationship from the perspective of citizens from the developing world, focusing on the disparity between the long-term socioeconomic planning stressed by the Westand the developing world's immediate need for sustenance.
