Performance

The band seemed very energetic, and they didn't make any glaring mistakes with any of the songs. They had a very strong overall performance.

I thought all of the Achtung Baby songs were performed well; and acoustic Pride and MLK were nice. I wish the Moment of Surrender snippet was more fleshed out here.

Highlights:
Zoo Station (as always)
Even Better
Mysterious Ways (excellent performance, just needed the slide solo)
Horses (lost my voice screaming the lyrics)
Tryin'
So Cruel
Pride (and I am not a big fan of this song)
MLK
Atomic City

Lowlights:
Ultra Violet (it's one of my favorite songs)
Vertigo

Sound

The recording is obviously not to the level of the IEM recordings we are often spoiled with. But this is quite excellent for an audience recording. It's impressive how fast this boot released too (mere hours after the show).

Audience

The audience at these Sphere shows kind of suck. Too many people are sitting, and everyone seemed relatively relaxed. Though, of course, the encore hyped everyone up... Also, when Bono was talking about the war in the Middle East, there were some praying noises in the background (according to my family-- I was too focused on the show to notice). I couldn't hear it in the recording (We were on Adam's side in GA), so I'm just taking their word for it.

This crowd also seemed very confused with the new Streets lyrics

Overall

It's easily the greatest U2 show I have seen so far. I went in, blind to the setlist, and was totally surprised that they went almost full ZOO TV for the first half of the show. The energy was a bit different compared to other shows I've seen by them, But overall, I really enjoyed it. The Sphere really is incredible-- no video does it justice.

Though, I can't say I wasn't disappointed when I found out that this show was the only one without Rattle and Hum representation

I did knock it down the rating a bit, since it's relative to some of the best shows in live music history; but I probably would have downloaded this show, regardless of my attendance. The acoustic set alone sets this show apart from others in this residency.
